Experience with Dr. Woodruff has always been good, can't say the same for some of the staff as they do NOT return phone calls. Now, I received a letter telling me Dr. Woodruff is gone so I went in and asked what happened and where did he go. They claim they do not know - he just up and left. I do not believe that...

Efficient and empathetic and open Dr. Does not talk down to the patient and is obviously caring and highly educated and competent. It is too bad that the "system" allows only for short 20 minute sessions after the initial appointment. I wish there at least a ten minute period to decompress and allow a Q&A session with the Dr. But....that's the way things are these days. I am so glad that Dr. Woodruff has chosen Grass Valley as the venue for his move to the West Coast from Michigan.

Dr. Woodruff spent well over 60 minutes with my exam and then going thru all test results + necessary future tests. He is BRILLISNT, WARM, GRACIOUS, EMPATHETIC and KIND-HEARTED. I would trust my life + lives of all family members to Dr. Woodruff's care with ZERO reservation! He is, simply, THE BEST!!

Dr. Woodruff impressed me immediately with his energy, his frankness, and willingness to listen. He was professional and didn't waste a lot of time, but didn't give me the impression he was in a hurry either. Explained results of tests, gave his opinion and didn't recommend more tests or frequent appointments: my kind of doctor.

About Me

care philosophy

I listen to my patients. I care about the quality of care and prevention is so much more important than care after the heart attack, stroke or heart failure has occured. I care about my patients and will fight to get them the best medical care available.
