Dismissive and not caring
As a PEDIATRIC resident, I’d expect the medical staff to be caring, understanding and compassionate but that was not the case with Dr. Sundquist. He dismissed our concerns, and he made me feel like there was no point in bringing my child to the ER, even though our pediatrician sent us. Well, he ended up being wrong and we were admitted for 4 days. It was very unsettling to hear that a resident who was in charge of us dismissed our pediatricians concerns us the second we arrived and in the end he was wrong with his ‘professional’ opinion.
