Dr. Nathaniel Ballek, MD

Dr. Balllek is a very smart doctor, he gives off confidence and is an expert in his area. However, he has little regard for patient concerns, opinions, and general manners. Every time I've been seen, I express my opinions and observations about pain and other symptoms and he basically scoffs. When I had an unexpected reaction to a medication, he argued that 'it couldn't cause pain as that's not possible' (summarized). I think that if he improves his hospitality, he'd be much better. On a side note, the front desk staff are incredibly unprofessional and an incredible pain to try and make appointments with. I was double charged for my first two appointments and once I pointed it out, the woman giggled and said 'whoops' and nothing else.

Went to Ballek for circumcision for phimosis. Did dorsal slit instead. Did not help the problem much. Needs complete circumcision.

I was very fortunate to get him when he took over my regular urologist's practice. Very concise when explaining my cancer treatment options. I have excellent communications with him and have every confidence in my surgeon.

This guy is terrible. He refused to help with pain and swelling after the procedure. Told me wait three weeks, then six, then three months, then six months then said it was fine. Still hurts to sit, swells if I go jogging and have cysts that are always uncomfortable. He says this is normal, "everyone has cysts". I get told this only after the procedure. Avoids answering questions like a pro, walks out and says "call if you have any problems" while refusing to help with the problems he caused.

Very friendly,does follow ups after surgery,I would highly recommend him,very neat,no scrape,scares,he knows what he doing,explains the procedure in full.His Staff experience with the public.Office is neat,and warm feeling,very timely manner.Nurse who knows what they are going to do,as the Dr.proceeds,samples are taking to the proper procedure for the future.Staff is properly dressed,as well as the Dr.Wash hands at all visits,family member's were well pleased.Smart Dr.answers are given in a Time

He is awesome! Very intelligent, urgent, caring,and explains everything in laymans terms. I found a lump on my left testicle and called him on a Monday and was seen by him that same day. He had me in surgery to remove it Thursday just 3 days later which is unbelievable. I referred myself to him because he saved my dads life just a month earlier. His nurses are wonderful as well. I'd give him 1000 stars if it was an option.

Dr. Ballek truly cares about his patients. He is a skilled surgeon. I am greatly indebted to him.

Dr. Ballek is a highly skilled urologist who cares about his patients. He is very forthcoming and informs his patients of their options and the risks of the procedure. I travel almost three hours to see Dr. Ballek as there are no urologists in my area that have the skills needed to care for me. I am a member of the nursing profession and I highly recommend Dr. Ballek. His office staff are professional and caring as well.
