Chronic pain post hip surgery
My mother-in-law had a hip replacement in October 2022. Prior to surgery she was doing Pilates multiple times a week; very active and healthy. She is now 6 months post hip replacement surgery with chronic daily pain. Dr. Williams told her in a follow-up appointment two months ago that she had to "change her attitude" and it will take time to get better. She returned today after an MRI that she had to basically force them to run for her, and he talked down to her saying that maybe this is her "lot in life" that God has for her, and she is going to have to change her attitude. He said "no wonder your husband is so mad at me, you have a terrible attitude about this." I have never written a bad review for any doctor, however I am so frustrated that this doctor talked down to the most positive, energetic and caring person I've ever known. Instead of coming alongside her to help her, he basically said "this is your fault and you will have live with it." No thank you. Bedside manner matters!

Great orthopedic doctor!
I met Dr. Nathan Williams for the first time this morning and I felt really comfort with him. Through a conversation with my friend, AJ (I'm leaving her last name out), he was the doctor who operated on her so that she can walk again (after having her left leg in a knee brace, using a walker and cane for 25 years)! What a miracle and what a blessing that Dr. Nathan Williams came in both of our lives.

My husband had a hip replacement recently and Dr Williams performed the surgery. We are very pleased with the results. It wasn't easy at first but now my husband is well on his way to full recovery. I would recommend Dr Williams.

Dr. Williams is simply amazing! He replaced both my Dad's knees and everyone we encountered throughout the entire process was great. His team at the office and at the hospital are top notch and very caring. We never felt rushed and everyone took time to answer a lot of questions and make sure the family was comfortable with such a big surgery. It was so comforting to myself and my Mom especially. We feel very blessed to have had such an incredible team.

I did not have a good experience with Dr. Williams. I was told by the aide that I needed an x-ray even though I had an x-ray taken 7 weeks ago. Before even seeing Dr. Williams I was told "Dr. Williams will still want his own x-rays." I refused the x-ray saying that I wanted to talk to the Dr. about it. I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes and then left the room and went to the check out desk. They told me that 2 more people were ahead of me and it would be at least 20 more minutes before I would see Dr. Williams. I walked out and will not go back.

I saw the previous reviews after scheduling and was a bit nervous: I went to get my knee checked out. Everyone was friendly, prompt and professional. I pre registered and arrived early. Just as I finished providing insurance card/id, they called me in. Did the usual weight, blood pressure, questions etc and told me they would come get me for Xrays. Again, I didn't have to wait, someone came right away. As a stroke survivor, it was a bit iffy to stand and balance for the x rays with my knee thrust forward. So, the technician rearranged the machine and had me sit. Back to the exam room to wait for Doctor Williams. Did I say wait? No - he came in right away. ( I don't walk fast, so he was able to review the x rays before I got back). Then he took plenty of time going over the condition of my knees. Because I'm a stroke survivor he took some extra time to also check out my affected side including my ankle, hand and arm. I'm quite impressed.

I am a healthcare provider and have delt with a lot of rude and arrogant Doctors on a Professional level but I never expected to be so disrespected by this Physician as a patient. Very condescending and uncaring. He made me feel very foolish for seeing him with my injury and acted as if he could not be bothered with me. If you wear your feelings on your shoulders this is not the doctor for you. He will ruin your day.

Would not recommend this Dr to my worse enemy. He does not listen to anything your saying. He replaced both my knees and 1 1/2 years later I complained of pain and lump on my knee for 6-8 months and all he could say was " can't see anything on x-ray" I end up falling and breaking my leg and still wasn't concerned about the lump on my knee Finally did biopsy and called me and told me it was cancer. Which was false I'm still getting treatment for my knee that is very expensive treatment

Very rude. Took my elderly grandma to see him for her knee. We waited an hour before we saw him, then he was in the room with us maybe 5 minutes. He saw her age and her X-rays and assumed it was just arthritis didn't care about anything she had to say. 3 weeks later we are now going to see a new dr bc the shot he said would fix it did not.

Very rude doctor. Came to him for a second opinion big mistake. Treated me like I an idiot. Wouldn't let me tell him any of my issues. Told me I have a chronic condition and nothing could be done to fix it. I waited an hour just to be called back to room. Then waited another 30 mins for him to come see me. Staff was very rude when I asked why his other patients were being called back before me. WILL not be going back to this place.

Dr. Williams is very rude and pompous. He does not try to get to know the patient before he begins to spill out wrong diagnosis and garbage. He never once looked at my knee or let me explain how everything started. All he wanted to discuss was that I needed a double knee replacement and gastric surgery for weight. This was the first and only time that I will see him. He talks down to you and talks to you like you are an imbecile. No thank you! I have a professional job too!
