Bad Medicine
My mom has been a patient of Dr. Walters for years. She has had multiple injections and rhizotomies over the years on her neck and back. I was her driver on the last procedure and was astonished when she was released from the office completely unsteady and seemingly still completely out of it and not even in a wheelchair. But at the time I blamed it on the fact that the office was extremely busy so I thought it was just a mistake and I let it go. After many failed attempts at pain relief, I stepped in and took her to a neurosurgeon who told us she was in desperate need of surgery and that there were no amount of shots that would help her pain. She went on to have that surgery and woke up with no pain. The neurosurgeon told her that she needed the surgery years ago and no amount of injections would have ever given her any meaningful pain relief. Dr. Walters is only concerned about charging Medicare and making money off patients who are desperate for relief.

Car wash
I felt like I was being shoved through a car wash like all the other 'cars' he saw. It felt very one trick pony as he said he had done hundreds of these procedures he made an 'over and over' sign with his hands. When we called later with questions they had his nurse call us back. She was very defensive and not helpful.

Dr Walters -Great Doctor
Dr. Walters was extremely helpful in reducing my sciatica pain through injection. I required two injections, and he was comforting and informative every step. He was very responsive to my needs. His office staff is helpful and efficient. They went out of their way to assist me when my referring doctor's office made mistakes. Overall the experience was very positive, both medically and personally.

Excellent
Despite a bad ice/snow storm, Dr. Walters stayed in his office (the only one who stayed) to see me, and avoid delay in care. He was very knowledgeable, responsive, and professional. I definitely recommend.

Dr. Walters had no compassion for my daughter’s pain and offered no help. He was rude and didn’t care that my daughter was upset about her diagnosis. He said he could do a procedure, but didn’t have any confidence it would help. Why put her through a difficult procedure if he didn’t think it would help??? I do NOT recommend him to anyone! He doesn’t care about patient's feelings at all.

Excellent doctor! I have been going to Dr. Walters for 10+ years. A few of my family members have been going to him as well... unfortunately these issues run in the family! Dr. Walters has treated me specifically for neck pain causing major headaches as well as for a herniated disc in my lower back and severe trigger points in my upper back. He is professional and organized. He is always on time which I appreciate and his staff has been nothing but accommodating and professional. Highly recommend!

Referred to Dr Walters. Had a broken neck and ruptured disk 20 years ago. Had cervical fusion then . Pain Was bad and I was no longer able to do my job 1st visit was a very brief consult and scheduled for a couple ESI. Had terrible side effects called his office both times and was treated as I was bothering them. Notes of my side effects or my calls were not noted my records. 4th visit was testing for carpal tunnel. Ok I do have some but holding my neck in one spot for 3 minutes relieves all numbness and tingling. That’s not a carpal tunnel repair. When asked just exactly what all is wrong and what was he treating. Dr Walters told me to make appointment to discuss that. There was no other patient there. Seriously so if you want information this is not a place for you. If you like being a $$ sign in a deposit slip this is the perfect place. I called his office twice for manager and never got a call. I am not a pain medicine patient and no way was I seeking drugs . terrible place.

I had my shoulder injected yesterday. I was in and out in 10 minutes. Dr. Walters knows what he is doing and doesn't waste time unless you want a longer consultation. I highly recommend him now that I have had my neck injected twice and my shoulder once at his office.

The office staff is absoulutley horrible! After driving a hour and a half to get to his office I was 9 minutes late and they said they couldn't see me. I am disabled and I have to depend on a service to drive me all the way to Dallas and had to pay them $60 just to be turned away the minute I walked in. I had already emailed my paperwork in as well and when I demanded to speak to the dr they called security to have me escorted out also the waiting room was completely empty.

I will limp for the rest of my life because of nerve damage that may never have happened had Dr, Walters had sent me to a surgeon as he should have. Instead he said, quote A surgeon would just send you back to me. When I finally did see a surgeon, six months or so later, I was told after the surgeon viewed the very same MRI that I needed surgery 6 months ago! By this time, nerves in my lower back had been pinched so long from severe spinal stenosis that they are no longer working.
