Dr. Moore and I had a rocky start some 7 years ago: he was young enough to be my son, maybe even my grandson. That did NOT go down easily. Now I know, without a doubt, that he would be difficult for me to replace. He hasn’t missed a beat clinically—I started out in nursing; my standards are impossibly high—and he has consistently referred me to specialists who are beyond excellent. Best of all, he “gets” me. He listens. He understands my values, and he doesn’t hesitate to challenge my thinking. He has earned my respect, even though I show no mercy when I grill him about his diagnoses and treatment plans. (He returns the favor. We end up doing things his way…eventually.) Yes, he has limited availability, but he has never failed to respond to any SOS I send. To top it off, he’s simply one of the Really Good Guys around. Given the mess that our health care system has become, IMO nobody does doctorin’ better than Nathan Moore.

Satisfaction with Dr. Moore
I have been seeing Dr. Moore since he joined the staff at Missouri Baptist Medical Center & have been pleased with his care. He takes the time to talk to me & seems to genuinely care about my good health. He & his staff have taken the time to help me understand my health issues as a senior member of society now.

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Moore. He takes care of our whole family. This is the first time I've been able to relax and trust that an internist has the expertise and skills to take care of our health problems. He cares about you as a patient and a person, follows up, collaborates with other doctors, and is able to quickly get you appointments with specialists if you need them.

My wife and I are relatively new patients and we are most impressed with Dr. Moore. He is pleasant, friendly and proficient. He has ordered appropriate tests and medicines. We feel confident that we have selected the right doctor. He uses the BJC MYChart to aid in rapid communication and then a personal followup. My wife had a recent knee replacement surgery and although Dr. Moore was not personally involved in that procedure he took his time to visit with my wife in the hospital.

I wouldn't give Dr. Moore even one star, but the review system doesn't allow for a minus star. I began seeing Dr. Moore in February, 2018. He has failed to read ordered Physical Therapy treatments, failed to contact the pharmacy with a new prescription, failed to respond to my emails about abnormal lab results and overall simply failed to be even an adequate medical provider. There are much better doctors in St. Louis.

Great experience with Dr. Moore. He listens carefully to your medical issues and addresses each one. He is kind and not rushed. He also relates well to my young granddaughter who was having her first experience with a male, non pediatric physician. Dr. Moore always calls the next day to discuss your lab results. He is in a very busy practice and it takes awhile to get an appointment with him.
