Dr. Bloch is one of the best Doctors I have been to. He has helped me with so many health issues. His bedside manner is great! I have never been disappointed in him. I wish there were more Doctors like him. I travel from Ferndale to Northville to see him. I wouldn't do that unless e felt he was worth it. The best Doctor!

Confusing & chaotic patient experience
Dr. Bloch is a nice guy with good bedside manner, but I overall cannot recommend this office due to the confusing and chaotic patient experience. -The office is poorly run by admins. They seem overworked and confused by consistently changing processes-I have never had a prescription sent in to the correct location and on one occasion, the entire prescription was the wrong medication-My gynecologist discovered bacteria in my urinalysis on 4/2023 and we quickly dealt with it, but when I was pulling medical records from Dr. Bloch to establish patient care elsewhere, I noticed that bacteria was found in my urine in 2/2022, but the office/doctor never notified me of the irregular test results-My husband tested positive as a carrier for cystic fibrosis, so I needed to ensure I was negative as we go into family planning, and Dr. Bloch was very strange and confused about my request. He encouraged me to not get the blood work, but it was absolutely information I needed to know

I have been going here for several years now. But recently I was stuck with bills for a test that was 100% covered by my insurance if the referral that had been sitting in my chart had ever made it to them to be approved. My insurance doesn't allow for backdating. The doctors are otherwise great, but I am not happy with getting stuck with these bills when it was their error.

I have been seeing Dr. Bloch for a few years and for the most part I have nothing but great things to say about him. He is very funny and he is knowledgeable. Caught a bacterial infection that I believe most doctors wouldn't have even looked for. My biggest issue is sometimes the follow through can be lacking. I have had to remind him to run specific tests from time to time for a preexisting condition. The staff in the Northville office can be hit or miss. I have interacted with some really lovely people and I have been in the waiting room a few times when the staff argues with clients. As a "hard stick" that often requires blood draws, I rarely walk out poked more than once or covered in bruises. I appreciate that they have a phlebotomist on site. They have early morning appointments and I am typically in and out in less than an hour. Maybe my expectations are too high but I can't go 5 stars. I want to be fixed and maybe that isn't possible, but at least I feel like Dr. Bloch tries.

I have written 1 other review in my 59 1/2 years. I felt it was incumbent for me to do so again in this case. I have been going to this office for several years because of insurance. In that time I have seen my Dr. twice. It is usually a PA, and generally a new one as they turn over with regularity. When I need a perscription refilled for Omeprozole I bit the bullet that he always requires I come in for a "check up" before refilling. I've been on it for YEARS, he's the only Dr. requiring this, and doesn't do anything but collect the $$$. I requested a diet Rx, that he had written in one of two times he saw me. This time though the PA required a urine tt. She then told me I had a "substance of concern". I showed her the Rx for the "substance". Apparently this PA, knows better than the primary physician. Needless to say I felt utterly humiliated. I will NEVER consider going back to this office under any circumstance.

We have heard staff sit at desk numerous times complaining about how they do not like their job and that they feel unappreciated. Also have heard them making unkind comments about patients Also charges you when you have called to reschedule or they call you to tell you not to come in. Then won't reschedule until you pay what you actually do not owe. Dr. can be rude and condescending like he is your boss, instead of a dr that you and your insurance company are paying very good money to. Would not recommend

I have been a patient of Dr. Bloch for approximately 10 years. I do not find any of the brief and anonymous reviews about his rudeness or lack of caring to be credible. When I've waitied beyond my appointment time, it is because of the time he spends getting to know the patient and his/her health. Like most workplaces, many employees are dedicated and caring; a couple have seemed like they'd rather be elsewhere. Dr. Bloch himself is knowledgeable and engaged.

Dr. Bloch did not spend enough time with me. First of all there was a wait of 45 mins, then once he came, he is in a hurry to leave without listening to my issues. I went for checkup, I had a back pain and a cough. After checking the cough, he was not willing to check on the other issue. He told me to take another appointment and come for the back pain problem. That was the first time a doctor telling me. Ifelt very bad and changed the doctor. Never go this office.

Sometimes there are emergencies and you do have to wait. I have been going to this office for several years, and I can't say enough good. He has helped me though more than just medical problems, he does listen! I can go on and on, but all I have to say is Dr Bloch has been my doctor for the last 10 years.

Horrible wait times in excess of hour and a half. Unprofessional staff. Condense sing staff. This doctor office is like a car dealership, they try to sell you anything and everything. All natural vitamins etc. You tell them no and they rush you out! Horrible. Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

My appointment was 9:45, it's now 11:00 am and haven't seen the Doctor. I had 3 things I wanted checked today and was told they only check 1 thing per appointment but she could get two things checked. This is the second time I've been in the Northville office and heard an altercation between a staff member and patient in another room. Front desk is poor and usually understaffed. They aren't real concerned about your privacy, but quick to ask for money. Staff is very rude and inconsiderate.
