She was my first doctor during my egg retrieval and I thought she was above and beyond. Not only is she kind, but she was so knowledgeable which helped ease my anxiety.

Keep an open mind for the big picture
I love love love Dr. Grob. I am not someone who needs a hand holder- I look at Infertility Specialist like they are “mad” scientists who have got lots to do. I tell people that I chose my OB for the warm fuzzies- I don’t need that with my REI. She tells you from day one that face to face appointments with her are not super frequent. she gives you her email address if you have questions directly- but you must be prepared that you’re getting face time with the support staff more than anyone: and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that. My consult with her felt collaborative and I felt like she answered my questions without any fuss. She’s just very good at just setting expectations from the start. Coming from someone who had post retrieval complications- if you’re not seeing her, it’s going smoothly. That all being said Dr. Grob is LOVELY. She’s very warm. Very friendly. Very informative.

The entire process has been abysmal with Dr. Grindler, now Dr. Grob. She clearly did not read our chart/file, gave generic answers to all of our questions (when she actually answered them) and was overall terrible to talk with. She rushed our virtual meetings (which were near impossible to get scheduled) and gave terrible advice stating that we needed to avoid “toxins”, eat tofu, and ~relax~. She then recommended another IVF cycle ASAP before trying an FET even though we told her we couldn’t afford it. We have zero confidence in her as a provider and will be switching providers, perhaps clinics, as soon as humanly possible. As far as we’ve seen, she would rather focus on her social media account than care for her patients (she made sure to plug her Insta twice before the end of the appointment). I have no clue how she is employed by the “best” IVF clinic in the country.

She doesn't listen. She only had her opinion and acts like the patients feelings dont matter. She treats patients like they are just another large some of money in her pocket. She also doesn't research the patients medical history and prescribes dangerous medicine when they shouldn't be taking it!

The infertility process is a challenging one to go through but I always felt more confident in my options and chances for success after meeting with Dr. Grindler. She and her team were very responsive with all of my questions and concerns and ultimately got us through the process and we are now expecting our first child. I look forward to working with her again in the future as we create the rest of our family.

She met with us knowing our wishes (and having our medical history, less than 6months old) and rather than having a forthright conversation then, she made us do a ton of invasive testing, costing a few thousand dollars, to just say what we asked for was not possible.

The amount of misinformation given to us by Dr Grindler was mind blowing. Plenty of eggs on one hand, worried about running out 2 sentences later. A diagnosis with none of the symptoms she even described. When told we didn’t present any of those symptoms she dumbed it down even more to “your brain is trying real hard to get your body to work”. Our experience was so bad I question if Dr Grindler even read our chart. Dr Grindler is in the business of selling IVF. If you want real answers, look somewhere else.

Paid a lot of money for consultation and it felt like Dr. Grindler was reading from a script and talking to me as if I was a third grader. I did not feel confident with her explanation or decisions.
