Outstanding Rheumatologist
He is an astute physician and relies on physical examination and is very attentive to my symptoms and concerns. He shows genuine compassion to my illness. Every visit (over 7) has been excellent and each a positive experience.

Dr. Nasim Khan didn't listen to my symptoms and immediately began turning the tables of it being all in my mind. When I told him I had been psychologically evaluated and my symptoms are purely physical, he moved onto it must be my weight, which other doctors who have seen me suddenly seen me drop weight rapidly for no reason can attest that is in fact not the problem. He then admitted to a few minutes Google search of on of my diagnosed issues, blaming it for all of symptoms even though had he done more research, he would find the diagnosis is an underlying cause of something else rather than the main focus. He then told me to try Mayo Clinic hundreds of miles away only for them to tell me that it can't be done as I cannot pay $5000 just to get in the door. He ignored my test results that expressed that the inflammation in my body has been going on for so long that it has created damage on a cell level.

Dr Kahn took time to fully understand my problems and glean personal information and review medical history and discuss medications. He was thorough, professional and sensitive to all my concerns. He summarized his diagnosis using clear terminology, and made sure I had all my questions answered. I would give Dr. Kahn a very strong recommendation to family and friends seeking a referral to a rheumatologist!

Dr Khan does not communicate with you. He seems to be capable of offering very little to you except infusions..but will quickly draw the line and refer you to others who may or may not help you. He seems very uninterested in me. I don't even know if he reads my chart. I keep him because I'm on Medicare.
