Terrible Experience
He was very condescending and not personable. He should not be working with children. He would not listen to anything that I said and interrupted me constantly. My poor son had to sit through a visit being told that he was obese. He criticized our family doctor in front of us. We like Lehigh Valley hospital doctors but he needs to go. I will not take my child back to him again. I am currently looking for another doctor. Please don't subject him to any other children. He needs to be working with adults.

Worst experience of my life
One star is too many. This man discounted every symptom my son shared. Every pain level and every issue. Instead of trying to figure out why my child is in excruciating pain for last 6 weeks he said it must be anxiety. He was so rude he made my son who doesn’t cry , have tears in his eyes the first 10 minutes in the appointment. He was rude, belittling to both me and my son and the worst pediatric doctor I’ve ever experienced. My first and last experience with Lehigh valley pediatric hospital.

Despite the fact that we had gone to Dr. Tolaymat for digestive issues my preteen daughter has experienced since birth, he spent the vast majority of the visit criticizing her weight. Even as she began to cry on the examination table, he did not stop repeating over and over how obese and overweight she is in front of her. I understand the need to address health issues, but there are sensitive ways to encourage girls to eat healthy and exercise, without humiliating them or damaging their self-esteem. I find Dr. Tolaymat has no bedside manner, and should not be working with children. We will not be going back.

We found him to be arrogant and frequently discounted what we as parents had to say. We felt as if he was more concerned about his reputation than he was for the wellbeing of our child. We do not feel that he listened to our concerns. He treated our child as numbers on a piece of paper vs a human being. Our child was aware enough to make comments about it. He pushed his own agenda without regard for our child's wellbeing. He should not be working with children.
