I have given Dr. Mating a multitude of chances to redeem himself. After every visit, I feel defeated and upset. My last visit with him lasted under 2 minutes long, and I have a few concerns that I wanted to go over. I have had rib issues for 6 months and put them off in exact fear of not being listened to. He pushed on my ribs and because I didn't scream, I 'Wasn't in pain'. I will be seeing a different provider now.

I feel the need to change doctors. Because of Dr. Mating lack of ability to follow up on patient needs, RX's and referrals, I must drag my 85 yr old husband back out into the heat for another office visit to get an rx filled. If Dr. Mating had done his job to begin with, this added expense would not be necessary. Don't get me going on my need for a referral to a gastrointestinal person.

I left one star only because I had too in order to leav3 a comment. I can narrow down my experience with one word, awful. He miss read blood tests & miss diagnosed me a number of times. Not just once. His knowledge of medicine is greatly lacking. His bed side manner is atrocious. If I repeated some of his remarks, I know without a doubt the medical world would cringe. I would recommend to everyone I meet to NOt go to him

Dr, Mating is the worse doctor I have gone to the last 50yrs. He never takes notes, will not allow you to take notes, and never!!! even put a stethoscope to my chest in the approx. 5yrs I have been seeing him. He would not stich up my girlfriends head with 3 stiches because he said there was to much blood and sent us to emergency at the cost of $2500. There are several other patients of his that have told me that they get more medical treatment from their dentist.
