Needed emergency surgery and he was the only doctor in centerville available to do it or I had the choice to go to Des Moines. So glad I chose to stay and he was available. He was excellent. Great bedside manner, and explanations of what was going on, and I'm recovering well from the surgery. Going to get the sutures out today, wound healed nicely with no infection following his instructions. Five stars.

I have had several surgeries with Dr. Batra as the surgeon. He is very skilled with excellent, throughal, & caring bedside manner. He takes the time to explain in layman' terms his findings. I highly recommend him.
