Dr. Narayanachar Murali, MD

Dr.Murali is very rude. He does not listen to anything you have to say. He advises me to do something I know for sure I'm not able to do at the moment because of a medical condition. I told him that I'm unable to do that and cut me off not even letting me give him the reason why but instead he proceeds to tell me to stop telling him what I cannot do while he doesn't know the reason behind it. He wants to do surgery on me and haven't run any test or anything to actually find out what's going on with me. I 100% do not recommend him. I will be seeing someone else.

Telephone call was the worst part. The reminder keeps coming and telling to cancel or confirm. Yet, no one ever answers the phone calls even if the patient has tried multiple times and left voice message during the stated office hours. The nurses were friendly in the procedure room. Yet, the lady who measured blood presure before the procedure was very unfriendly and she had a long face for both visits (the initial consulting visit and the procedure visit), which did not make the patient feel welcomed or respected.

The MD explained everything and was thorough. He has treated 3 generations of my family.

The doctors and nurses were very professional and explained everything clearly. It was a pleasant visit.

For someone who is very critical of services rendered to me wherein I feel or believe my time is not considered, I am very surprised how this entire experience was so pleasant. The staff were so attentive and considerate. I couldn't help but notice that not one person ever spoke to me without a smile upon their faces. I believe they actually disarmed me of my usual frustrations which would normally occur after a two hour delay. I can only attribute this to the culture Dr. Murali has nurtured at the core of his practice. Thank you, Mr. Normally Grumpy.

I was scheduled for a colonoscopy on Wednesday, November 9th. Nurse John, Nurse Heather, and the other nursing staff were very professional, patient, caring, and kind throughout my prep. I have hard to access veins…They worked together as a team to keep me calm and find a suitable vein. Honestly, I was anxious at first…but because they talked to me calmly every single step of the way…my nervousness went away. . Dr. Murali even cracked a joke to make me laugh!! I would give them a billion stars if I could!! I truly recommend Gastroenterology Associates of Orangeburg, PA. I promise you will not be disappointed!! Thank You, Dr. Murali and your amazing team!!

Original office visit was a little rushed but the procedure that followed was thorough and performed quickly from first visit. Dr. Murali did explain the results and was very in depth with the ways to improve the condition.

Because Dr. Murali greets patients cordially, I always enjoy my visit. The nurse and assistant were ready and began preparation immediately. I felt comfortable because the doctor and staff had equipment ready, provided specific directions for me, and they exemplified competence and professionalism. Dr. Murali is trustworthy, very knowledgeable and thorough, and he provides specific information about procedures and results.
