Truly Exceptional care
I cannot recommend Dr. Ko highly enough. She is not only exceptionally qualified but also demonstrates remarkable diagnostic expertise. What sets her apart is her humility and genuine care for her patients. Every time I’ve needed assistance, no matter how last minute, she has been willing to see me on the same day, making herself available whenever an issue arises. She is approachable, attentive, and takes the time to listen and address concerns with the utmost professionalism. As a physician I work closely with other physicians day and night. Dr. Ko is truly one of a kind, and I am grateful to have her as my physician. She is an asset and wonderful addition to Putnoi eye clinic.

Cataract surgery was great
I had a cataract exacerbated by laser surgeries on my retina. Dr Ko went over all the options first with pamphlets, then with video, and then in person. We came to agreement on what was best for me. The surgery was great - when the eye guard was removed the next day my vision was so much better. Before the surgery I bought some inexpensive prescription glasses estimating my new prescription, as my original glasses would no longer be a good fit. These temporary glasses are not exactly correct but they are very close!

Zero compassion and professionalism
I was unfortunate to be Dr Ko’s patient at Putnoi Eye care in Wellesley, MA. She has shown zero compassion to me as a patient, rushed me through appointment, chose treatment option convenient (easy) for her and not what’s best for me as a patient and lied about available treatment options (or has lack of basic ophthalmology knowledge). I’m saying this confidently as a medical doctor myself who has very experienced ophthalmologist in close family too (Dr Ko wasn’t aware of this so I I shine that’s why I’ve received such a bad treatment). As result of her (in)actions I’ve suffered unnecessary prolonged pain and discomfort and has to seek urgent treatment elsewhere with significant out of pocket cost.
