I wanted to discuss having my tubes tied and she said, “Why waste your time. You are on the cusp of menopause. Just use another method of birth control.” I was irritated, but went to her a second time. During this visit I actually told her that I did not appreciate her crass attitude and the way she spoke to me. I told her that I wanted to share how I felt directly to her instead of simply leaving a bad review or not recommending her. After I shared what I needed to say she said, “Is that it?” And then she got up and walked out. It’s quite a shame that she places herself on a pedestal above her patients and believes it is acceptable to speak to anyone in this manner.

I wish I could give a "0" rating. This was the worst medical experience of my life. After waiting in a very small reception area for 45 minutes with three other people during a pandemic, I was finally called back. The doctor was more interested in what felt like "catching me" not telling her about medications I no longer took that providing quality Gyn care. She verbalized that she forgot the breast exam, asked the nurse to remind her, and then started out the door without it, to where I reminded her. She didn't explain anything during her exam or tell me I had any diagnosis - but the records I received through the portal had three diagnosis (that I needed to learn about by making a follow up appointment, per her office) and my insurance bill included a "surgery" that I knew nothing about. I'm happy to say that I'm no longer a patient of Dr. Mondero and found another provider - who confirmed that I don't have any of the three diagnoses. I still have PTSD from this experience!

The staff is friendly & the office is clean. I appreciated that the doc spoke with me before I undressed for my exam. Both her staff & she did a thorough history. However, the exam was the worst one I’ve ever had! The doc didn’t communicate what she was doing when, someone walked in the room in the middle of my breast exam, & then she hurt me. I don’t mean the usual pressure & pinch. I mean I jumped from the pain. There was no apology or acknowledgement or checking in to see if I was okay. She just went for it again & hurt me a second time! It’s been 4 days since & I am still in pain & discomfort. I won’t be returning. I can not recommend this doctor.

Dr. Mondero is a true diagnostician , hands on doctor. She is not like today's doctors who refer, refer , refer because they do not know how to practice medicine.

It’s been a couple years since I’ve seen this doctor & wouldn’t go back if my life depended on it. When asked by her about sexual activity, I explained that it had been 3 years since I was sexually active. This doctor refused to believe me.. why? No explanation other than grilling me trying to get me to tell her I was sexually active. I WASNT and didn’t budge. She was visibly irritated. Basically she called me a liar... Why? Some people don’t have sex! Then I get called back into her office a week or so later & she says I have some kind of infection due to having sex ???? come on doc.. she gave me a prescription but instead I went to another doctor who tested & assured me I had no infection. I truly believe this doctor just “needed” to be “right”. Claiming a false infection so you can feel right? Beware ladies as after researching online I found this has happened with other of her patients as well. So if this doctor says you have an infection GET A SECOND OPINION.

I went to see Dr. Modero as I was suffering from severe pain in my side. I told her I wanted to get some tests done, that I had a history of endometriosis and an ovary removed many years ago. I explained I wanted to explore getting a hysterectomy. Dr. Mondero tried to talk me out of getting a hysterectomy and did not want to send me for imaging. I switched to a different practice who sent me for imaging and found I had several tumors in my uterus. They determined I needed to have a hysterectomy.

Dr Nancy has been my gyn for 14 years. Ten years ago she found my breast cancer! Treated with surgery , radiation and chemo! Dr Mondero is through and understanding of any issue I may have questions about. Recently I had my yearly visit and I mentioned the pain I was having in my abdomen. Dr Mondero set up tests for me and requested i make an appointment with my primary care doctor. Dr Mondero called with result before my primary care dr and she made sure that I had appt with primary dr.

Great experience for a new patient starting with appointment scheduling to check out. Office staff was professional helpful pleasant and understanding. Waiting time was minimal. (I did have an early apt) Dr Mondero was pleasant and empathetic. She didn't appear hurried or impatient. She was willing to spend as much time as I needed. Highly recommend. Office environment was calming bright and comfortable. Nurses were great also.

I starting seeing Dr. Mondero about two years ago for some bladder issues. I really cannot say enough good things about her and her staff. She is one of those few doctors who talks to you, explains everything in detail, and listens to what you have to say. She is also very kind and compassionate. On top of that her staff is amazing. It is an absolutely pleasant experience to visit her office.

Very professional, caring and sensitive. Took time to talk about a number of issues. Thorough and gentle exam. She is warm and friendly. In my opinion and as a new patient, I can say that Dr Mondero is the best gynecologist I have ever been to in over 50 years. She exudes confidence and caring.
