Dr. Najia Lawrence, MD

Dr Lawrence has been a saving grace for me when it comes to having a piece of mind. She is so knowledgeable and has the most genuine bubbly personality. She delivered my first baby and I’ll be back to see her for my second! I had amazing deliveries!

She was very condescending and treated us as if we were stupid. She made crude comments such as “I don’t have a crystal ball, I can’t see the future. Can I say that if you leave and come back tomorrow that you won’t have a dead baby? No.” Wouldn’t monitor our child, only wanted to push us into an unneeded induction and wanted us to sign an AMA if we wanted to go home and come back when labor started naturally. I asked numerous times if there was anything they saw that warranted us staying and starting the induction. She wouldn’t give me an answer and stated it was base 100% off of what my wife told them. They are the medical professionals and deliver numerous babies per day and they base their decision off of the words of a first time mother. I will absolutely refuse to have this doctor anywhere around my wife or our family from here on out. Terrible experience.

Dr Lawrence made me feel very stupid for coming in with very valid concerns. I left my 2, and only 2 appointments with her in tears. She made me feel like because of my age that I am fine and that everything I had concerns about were “normal”. Well if I have to come in for a visit then obviously it doesn’t feel normal for me. There is very little conversing about options to make me feel heard or validated. It was all very condescending and dismissive. Strongly urge for people to look else where if they actually want compassionate care.

She is knowledgeable and knows what she’s talking about. However, I did not feel like I was listened to and understood. I felt like I was stupid for wanting a diagnostic surgery and being treated like a child. I felt like my symptoms were invalidated as she said, almost her exact words, that it seems like I find period pain annoying. I put off seeing a medical professional about dysmenorrhea for years even though everyone around me told me I should. That was really rude and unprofessional. I’m not saying she isn’t a nice person or experienced at what she does, but she did not have to talk to and treat me like that. I personally don’t recommend her and will not make another appointment with her in the future.

Everyone is friendly and nice but they never ever call or email the results from any visit/test. There's a patient portal, but it is never updated. Why even have it?

Dr. Lawrence is excellent. The practice is clean and follows safety guidelines. The staff is absolutely the best ever. You can tell they lead by example. I highly recommend Dr. Lawrence as an OB/Gyn!!!!!

Dr. Lawrence performed an exam and the speculum was not properly placed. I was in extreme pain and asked her to remove the speculum. She did not, but stared at me while I was yelling in pain. It was not until the attending nurse intervened that Dr. Lawrence removed the speculum. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!

I was prescribed a medication even after saying I didn't want to take it because it doesn't help me. It was basically a "Take this or nothing" scenario. I ended up leaving the office in tears because she dismissed my concerns as nothing and left the room before I could even say anything. If all you want is a birth control prescription she is probably fine but if you have any real concerns I recommend going to someone who will take you seriously.

Dr. Lawrence was nice, office staff was very nice but Dr. did not adequately explain the condition and prescription instructions were so brief I did not know what to do when I got home. When I called back to the office the instructions I received were still not that helpful. I am still in pain, after some weeks.

I love Dr. Lawrence. She is simply amazing. She is not quick to put you on medications unless you really need it. She takes her time with you and listens. My favorite by far.

Dr. Lawrence has a bedside manner that is bar none. She is thorough, compassionate and caring. Diagnosed me after a year of misdiagnoses... If front desk staff could catch her demeanor with patients it would be a perfect scenario! ( but I'll take the doctor exp in exchange any day.) If you're looking for a new ob/gyn, look no further.

Dr Lawrence is wonderful! She takes her time to explain things/procedures in such a way that is easy for you understand. She always has a big smile on her face which is very warm and welcoming, especially if your worried about an abnormal test result. Dr Lawrence is very knowledgeable and professional. The office staff is great and returns calls very promptly. I will recommend every woman I know to her. Thanks for taking such great care of me Dr Lawrence and staff ????

Dr. Lawrence is profession, kind, knowledgeable and punctual. She has been my doctor for over 5 years and I wouldn't, couldn't ask for better!
