Updated review weeks following my 1st and last app
Unfortunately, I was unable to update my 5 star review of Dr. Thomas and her office. It took 3 weeks for us to get our test results because they say they were behind. Then I scheduled an appointment because I was having extremely bad pelvic pain in my left side, all she did was a urine sample in office and say she was sending it to the lab and schedule a CtScan. I even spoke to her about my weight not really moving and she just brushed it off saying what do you want to focus on today after she asked if I had any more concerns. I got my scan done a few days later. The tech said I’m sending the results right away. I called after a week and they said they don’t have them. So I called the imaging company and they stated they sent them over on the same date. Another week goes by so I called again to find out the results had been there all along. With no urgency and me still in pain the nurse just said Dr. Thomas said to go to a Gynecologist. They didn’t offer a referral. Never returning!

Uninterested doctor
I’ve been seeing Dr. Naja Thomas for several months now, and unfortunately, my experience has been consistently disappointing. I believe it’s important for others to know what to expect before choosing her as their provider.First, her bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. She seems disengaged, uninterested, and even annoyed at times. She rarely makes eye contact, interrupts while I’m speaking, and doesn’t create an environment where I feel comfortable or heard. Her demeanor gives off the impression that she doesn’t enjoy her job, and that’s disheartening to experience from a doctor.Additionally, the atmosphere in the office has been uncomfortable. On multiple occasions, I’ve overheard laughter between her and her assistant as I was leaving the room, which felt unprofessional and personal. While I can’t say for certain, it has left me feeling judged and disrespected. Her office is never crowded. However, this also raises questions about why the practice isn’t busier.

A Physician who cares
Dr. Thomas is a patients dream. She is attentive, engaging, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I felt a strong sense of comfort from my very first visit and ever since. She takes her time, asks the necessary questions, and makes certain that all of your needs are addressed.

Helpful and Informative
I had an amazing experience with Dr. Thomas. I scheduled an appointment to establish care with a provider as I recently relocated to the area. We discussed my medical history, she informed me of the services she offers and she asked about my wants and needs. It's rare that you find providers that are willing to listen to the patient without interrupting and Dr. Thomas did just that. Once I was done she made suggestions and she then graciously allowed me to respond.

The staff are ALWAYS professional, respectful, and easygoing. They are reliable, conscientious, sensitive, and genuine, and are extremely capable. I never have to wait a long time in the examine room. And it is always easy to schedule an appointment. Dr. Thomas is remarkably open and frank when speaking to me. She is intelligent and well-read. I never feel rushed through an appointment. She takes the time to answer my questions. She is very trustworthy. I feel I could talk to her about anything. Thank you for the wonderful care you provide! You not only take care of my health issues, but you educate me so I can work with you as a partner in my care. You are one in a million. ??

I love Dr Thomas. She has been my doctor since I moved to Keller in 2013. She is kind, caring and compassionate. She listens, makes suggestions, and most of all she does not preach. Yes there have been staffing issues but that is true of many doctors offices since I have been in Texas since 2012. I think they now have a very good staff. I would recommend Dr Thomas to anyone looking for a physician.

Dr. Thomas is my PCP. She writes all my regular meds. I have been happy with the care I receive and there is no problem getting calls returned now that she and Dr. Middleton do not share an office with another dr. like they did in Keller. Dr. Thomas is happy to fill all my prescriptions and has a quiet and calm manner. She will answer any questions she can but does not give an opinion that she thinks another dr. may be more qualified to answer.

I scheduled an appointment to see this physician, and her receptionist Amanda was extremely rude and hung up the phone in my face. I received an automated phone confirmation, which I did but Amanda called me the day before to again confirm I told her that I had already confirmed. I then asked her if I needed to fill out a lot of paperwork I told her that it was normally done online or mailed. She stated that she wasn't going to go through this with me again. I asked her go through what again? She wouldnt answer. She said that she was going to cancel my appointment, and I told her that she did not have the authority to cancel the appointment. I called the office and she said that she was the manager. I told her that I did not cancel the appointment but she stated that she had canceled the appointment I am certain that she is costing this firm thousands of dollars with her rude behavior. Do not waste your time in even scheduling an appointment with this office!

Be careful going here, they will verify your insurance, however, they will not let you know if they are out of network. Went for a physical to Dr Naja Thomas and the associate said everything was ok with the insurance. Two weeks later we get a bill for $252.65 because they are out of network. Then a week later, we get another bill for $138.62 for a follow-up appointment to the physical (they needed us to go back for a 2 minute appointment to collect more money knowing they were OON)

This review is based on multiple visits and experiences with these two physicians and their staff. This office (PPA health and wellness) and it’s doctors, Dr. Middleton and Dr. Thomas are the most unprofessional and uncompassionate doctors and staff, who are incredibly short and rude with their patients. They NEVER return calls and you have to call over and over and over to get a return call a week later. You’re simply a number to them. The wait times are horrific and the visits are very rushed.

This person has no regards toward the elderly and their needs. The office is poorly managed; Dr Thomas is rude with what appears to be little insight into the medical needs of others. Be prepared to wait for a long time. The office itself is in neglect and this is also is in respect towards their patients.

Dr ztjmas is very knowledgeable in many areas of medicine. Having recently been hospitalized with both a heart attack and stroke, I learned on my own not only her knowledge but the respect and commendations the specialists praised her with for her ability to diagnose and coordinate treatment. She is quiet, do one might think she is not listening, but I assure you she remembered even the smallest details do a complicated health history. I cannot recommend Dr. Thomas!!!

This is the worst Doctors office in the metroplex. I am an insurance agent and I will never recommend her office. The pharmacies I work with can never get them to respond or refill my meds. I run out for weeks before I get the refill. NEVER go to this Doctor!

Dr. Thomas is the worst doctor and staff I have ever encountered. Her office never calls myself or pharmacists back. If you need an appointment, a question answered or your medicines refilled, you are out of luck. I have been going to her for 2 years and I am done. Her receptionist, Veronica never returns phone calls and the doctor is never working. I have been trying to get my medicine refilled for 2 months. Threet pharmacies have tried in vain to contact this office, to no avail.

Dr. Thomas is great. Her office is awful. Phone calls go un-returned for days upon days and don't expect anyone to answer the phone, ever. You will have to leave a voicemail and hope someone calls you back. once you get someone to call back, scheduling an appt is easy. I can always get in within a couple days. Now, upon arrival I normally end up waiting at least 45 min in the exam room before seeing the doc. I have waited up to an hour and a half past my appointment time to see someone.
