Worst Doctor EVER
He didn’t listen to anything I had to say, kept cutting me off and speaking to me as a child and I’m a 40 year old man. He asked the exact same questions so many times. Blamed my lifestyle now for sleep issues (during initial consultation) and tried to explain to him that my issues were worse before but kept cutting me off and refused to even listen to me. I had a surgery later that same day and he questioned me about info about my surgery and then told me well since you have somewhere else to be just go! I told them I want another doctor but I’m not even sure if I want to go with this practice anymore. The rest of the staff was amazing, but this doctor was enough to make me just want to take my chances elsewhere or with no help if this is what I get for trying. Do yourself a favor and avoid this man at ALL costs.

Horrible experience - Never again!!
His office had pharmaceutical company sales brochures for narcolepsy meds all over the coffee table next to the patient seat. A red flag, lots of pharma sales reps there. When he opened the door and came in, he said hello but made no eye contact. He sat probably 15 feet, maybe 20, away from me with a computer on wheels blocking all but his face. Not once did he look at me. He asked me to tell him in detail about my issues. Within 20 seconds, he was interrupting me. I tried to tell him important info, and was talked to like a child. Patronizing me. As if I knew nothing about my own body, and he was a "god", totally narcissistic. The appointment lasted 15 minutes max. He even criticized the medications my PCP had prescribed me. Each time I attempted to provide information, within 30 seconds max, he was cutting me off condescendingly. Doesn't listen, doesn't care about you, has a god complex, won't collaborate with you on your treatment. Don't make my mistake in seeing him!!

Dr. Bashir has treated my daughter and myself. My case was straight forward and my daughter's is not. He has taken my concerns seriously and listened and explained when I did not understand. When I questioned his plan of treatment, he explained, adjusted and made sure we were both comfortable with how we were going forward. He has been the most non judgemental doctor I have seen in years. I honestly wish he could be my primary.

Office receptionist Ms. Straw (spelling maybe incorrect) was very rude for first visit and then rude again when calling to try and get equipment straight. I do not recommend this office at all!

I should have known something was wrong when the nurse entered my room and called me by a different patient name during my visit to get my take home sleep study equipment. After I returned the machine, the next day I got a call from Dr. Bashir telling me the sleep study results loaded onto myChart belonged to another patient and requested I return for another study. I declined. I was sent to collections for my copay after the office manager told me they would not charge me for the appointment. My insurance was not billed, and I never returned. I wish I had seen these reviews before scheduling my visit.

I interacted with Dr. Bashir in the past three months. I had one visit with him and it was so cold. He has no bedside manner, did not seem concerned and I felt his assessment was a checkbox process. He ordered a at home sleep test and never called with results. He had someone else call me saying I needed to come in for a more invasive exam. After that test, someone else called with results. I never heard from the man again and I am not surprised. The results were not added to my online medical account and I had to make a request. I gave up looking after noticing there was no response. I will NEVER utilize him again or any practice he affiliates if I have the option.

Dr. Bashir is hands-down the worst doctor I have ever encountered. As of Fall 2020, he is showing clear signs of declining mental faculty by accidentally mixing up and sending incorrect prescriptions and failing to grasp simple patient issues. Further, he punished me for not using my CPAP enough by taking away my prescribed daytime meds for narcolepsy. As an adult, I have never (not once) been an “upset customer” or needy patient, but this man is an absolutely horrible doctor. Avoid at all costs.
