My husband and I saw Dr Khalek and her team at CHOP, where we learned that our baby boy had a lethal condition and would not survive. Dr Khalek and her entire team (Haley Crane, genetic counselor and Stefanie Kasperski, fetal therapy coordinator) were kind, compassionate, and clear with us about our son's condition. Dr Khalek spent 30-45 minutes with us, answering questions and helping us process next steps for our family. She emailed back and forth with us after the appointment, and Haley and Stefanie have both continued to follow up with us even after the loss of our son. I can't speak highly enough of her and her team and would highly recommend her. I'm so incredibly grateful for this team who cared so well for us and our son.
