Morsi disregarded several issues that was consistent with liver failure and or cancer that my fiancée has been experiencing. Morsi told him he was fine. After a colonoscopy and endoscopy that came back clear. The weight loss and bloating continued. One month later after a ER trip. It’s confirmed everything was not fine. He has Adenocarcinoma of the liver that’s spread to the intestine and other places. The bloating resulted in 6.8 liters of fluid being drawn off his abdomen. And his liver is showing signs of end stage failure So everything was not fine. Don’t take the risk! Find a doctor who cares about what they’re doing and doesn’t disregard everything you tell them.

He refused to see me unless I put my service dog in the car. We had waited 50 minutes in the waiting room. I tried to find a way with the staff to be seen and offered for her to lay in the hallway and wait or in the room next door but he refused and said I could only put her in the car if I was going to an exam room. I have serious medical issues that my dog alerts for and she is very well trained. I had all her paperwork with me. This has caused so much stress that it has had a negative effect on my health.

Very pleased with DrMorsi. Wasn’t planning to see nurse practitioner when I went, but apparently that’s how all the GI Drs do it now. Dr Morsi talked with me before procedure and to my husband after. Staff was very friendly.

Very nice doctor, however I had to call & talk to the office manager to get details on my visit. Morsi did not mention anything about a Colonoscopy but then sent a nurse in to set it up. Had no idea what his plan was, he did not speak to me about anything. All of my symptoms were upper & he refused to do upper & lower at same time. So now I have to get put under again by another dr. & spend more money. No suggestions, help, ideas about how to comfort my issues in the meantime, nothing. Very unimpressed & 3 weeks after procedure, I am still sick.

Dr. Who? He is my husbands doctor, been to his office 4 times and has never seen him. Had to do upper/lower GI two separate procedures. He wouldn’t do them on same day. The nurses at the hospital said he does it separately because he makes more money that way. I am not impressed with him at all!!!

Doctor morsi is amazing Before I went to see him I went to like 15 other doctors in 4 years and never felt better always the same or worse. They never wanted to send me to doctor morsi so I went to him on my own and decided to ignore other doctors according to them I had to do couple of surgery’s and Etc When I went to Morsi he did an exam and everything and found out that everything I was spose to take out is working fine and it’s all good. So he treated me told me what to do I listened to him and did everything he wanted me to. And thank god after 4 Years i met morsi and now I’m pain free and all ok again. Best doctor ever.

Initially I was worked in after a referral the same day. There was a wait but he was very good in the exam and quickly order my procedure. On the day of the surgery, he spoke to me prior to the procedure. He reviewed his findings with my husband who also like him.

Dr. Morsi is the best gastroenterologist I have ever seen and trust me I have seen a lot! I have Crohns Disease, and Dr. Morsi has brought me back from flares more times than I can count. This man is a miracle worker, and I will never go to another as long as he is practicing! I cannot recommend him enough!

Acts like he is too busy to explain issues. Had to have my GP explain things. Does not want to do an upper & lower GI at same time. Can make more money doing them at separate times. Tries to encourage unneeded & unnecessary follow-up visits.

Unhappy Patient in Bowling Green, KY – Jun 30, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Morsi?
Been a Crohn’s patient of Morsi’s for many years. Always very attentive and interested in my symptoms, changes, and thoughts. Staff is always pleasant and accessible. They work well with insurance and prescription companies getting patients enrolled with copay plans. Appointments take too long, but they see many patients so I guess that’s something I can live with.

I don't know how he is as a Dr because I only got to have an appointment with the nurse practitioner. The staff were awful, Becky the nurse hung up on me. They scheduled me an appointment and just put it in the patient portal. I didn't even know I had an appointment until I see in my email that I had an appointment in the patient portal. When I asked about it the office told me that it was a follow up and said they mailed it to me as well.

No communication between nurse practitioner or nurses. Everyone saying something different. Contradicting what each other says. Spends most of the time in the exam room looking at and typing on his laptop. Symptoms are worse now than when I first started going to him. Will not be returning!

Communication is important. I have a real hard time understanding what he says. Dr. Morsi has hard time understanding what I say. Dr. Morsi told me I had Minor Colitis. He prescribed medication and did not get much better for 2.5 years. Turns out my diarrhea was due to a side effect of a medication I was taking. So I spent a lot of money for medication he prescribed along with a great deal of toilet paper, because he did not pay attention to details about other medications I was taking.

He is professional, but when you make appointment with his office, you may see his Nurse Practitioner instead without knowledge that is who you will see. Colon scope was done with him and that went great. Had a miscommunication with instructions by his office on home treatment for issue found.
