Dr. Nagashree Chandrashekar, MD

I saw Dr Chandrashekar recently and complained of a mild chaste pain few days prior. After consultation I wanted to go home, but as a compassionate medical practitioner…she objected and made a quick emergency referral -While I was at the hospital emergency they discovered abnormal blood flow in some area of my heart. Not only were the Drs’ in touch with her regarding my situation, Dr Shandrashekar stopped by a couple of times at my hospital room to check on me and told me of a new medication they prescribed. Absolutely Dr Chandrasheker cares about her patients ??

Dr. Chandra is very efficient, courteous, knowledgeable, and offers helpful information.

I would recommend Dr Chandrashekar as a physician. She is very knowledgeable and I did not feel rushed as a patient. She is very caring. Office needs improvement on front office staff and appt wait times. No updates by staff on why appts taking so long. If wait times continue to be long I will have to look elsewhere. Office staff needs to work on professionalism.

A total disappointment. The doctor's office staff was unprofessional and rude. Doctor was more than two hours behind schedule in her patient appointments which her office staff failed to tell us. They just let us sit without offering any of us the opportunity to reschedule. It was the first and last appointment with this doctor.

Dr Chandrashekar is very attentive, a very good listener and strives to be very accurate. I was in and out of my visit within the hour and that normally never happens. I was glad to see an improvement in that area and hope to see it continue. Yes I would definitely recommend her because she's a very good doctor and is excellent at what she does.

She is open, friendly, and easy to talk to.

Dr. Nagashree Chandrashekar, MD, saw my mother in Providence Hospital for a minor stroke. My mother was weak and I asked the doctor to keep her at a few more days because I felt that she was not healthy enough to be released. The doctor did not consider my request and sent my mother home with me. 3 days later we were back in the hospital with a diagnosis of hospital acquired pneumonia. My mother passed away 2 and a half weeks later from aspirational pneumonia. Had the doctor even considered my request for one minute, things might be different. Of course she apologized, but her lack of concern can't bring my mother back. The doctor's last words to me prior to releasing my mom against my better judgement, were, oh she'll be fine. If you have an aging parent under her care, request... no, demand another doctor.

Avoid this doctor at all costs. You'll be waiting half the day to see her, for either an in and out kind of appointment or an appointment that takes over an hour. The check in/out staff are friendly but the nurses seem to have trouble remembering even simplest of numbers. You cab also never get them on the phone, like it's rolled 24/7 so they don't have to take your call. Which makes it difficult to make an appointment and/or ask for refills. Do yourself a favor and don't go here at all.

I have been seeing Dr.. Chandrashekar for many years and she is a wonderful doctor. She has very personable bedside manners and she is a joy to talk to. I never wait long for appointments and I usually don't wait very long to see her once I arrive. I must also mention the wonderful staff, who has always went above and beyond for my medical needs.
