The Worst Pediatric ER Doctor I’ve ever met.
Me and my mother walked inside the hospital with high hopes of someone being able to help the child we have guardianship over. Saturday August 24th the little boy started breathing really hard and wheezing terribly. We were given Dr. Symons as a doctor. She refused any other testing for him besides Covid and flu. He was obviously having respiratory issues and was struggling to breathe. She didn’t test for anything including asthma. She asked about his medical record and said “most people who have guardianship don’t know anything about the kid” I have been with this child since the day he was born. She then compared this kid to a hot (temperature) dog. She said he was breathing terribly due to his fever yet he was breathing like that before a fever. I referenced that multiple times and she shut me down. She was inconsiderate and very rude to the little boy who is now diagnosed with Astma and could’ve been hospitalized due to her lack of caring for her patients.

Extremely rude and condescending. Brushed off a child in respiratory distress and gave no breathing treatments. Took him to the pediatrician and he was diagnosed with asthma. How she even has a license is beyond me.

Shrugged the complaint off, treated for something she said wasn’t and couldn’t be the problem. Refused further testing. Condescending. One star is complimentary
