Smart, kind, skilled surgeon.
I went to the ER with gallbladder pain and ended up in an Emergent Laproscopic Cheolecystectomy with Dr Gurardado. She was attentive, thorough, and kind in our pre-op consult. The surgery ended up being complicated, yet with an extra hour of effort she managed to keep the procedure laproscopic and still achieve a successful outcome. In a medically complex and delicate situation, she gave the best and most skilled care one could hope for. I’ll be forever grateful to Dr Guardado for skillfully resolving what could have become a very bad situation. In Post Op she was friendly and humble, saying, ”we had to work hard, but we were happy with the result.”
