Dr. Na Liu, MD

Awful does not even begin to describe my experience with Dr. Liu. First off, she entered the room having never reviewed my file. She was literally reading the chart for the first time in the room with me and my family. She even said 'Did you know you are anemic?' and when I said no, that no one mentioned anything about that from the blood work, she continued to look and said 'Oh wow, you look ok on the outside but your blood work is very bad.' Who says that to a cancer patient?! How unprofessional and cold. The woman has zero bedisde manner or tact. Without any evidence (she even said that we need further testing to confirm staging) she told me I could have Stage 4 cancer. The stress this woman caused by saying this with ZERO basis is impossible to describe. No oncologist should ever say a stage without clear evidence, especially Stage 4 which would not be curable. Further, she refused to answer questions - she would say 'I will get to that' as if she was reading from a script. T
