Dr. Myrtle Goore, MD

My first visitSt. Margaret Hospital Downtown Montgomery Blood work. The blood lady didn't know what the hello she was doing with a needle. Bruised for months. Fast-forward 38 years later... We may not agree on what meds I want and what meds I'm going to get she's the Doctor and she's in charge. I must say she listens and more often than not she understands how I feel and what I'm saying. She's been good to me and that's what matters. Two beautiful ladies, Nurse Shameka and Nurse Shanice who run the front end as well as the back have been with her practice as long as I've been a patient. I run to them when the Doctor gives me a hard time. 38 years later and Dr. Goore is still a beautiful lady. Always has been. I started seeing Dr. Goore because my sister recommended her. It is so hard to get someone on the phone there. I don't even try to make appointments anymore unless I'm in so much pain that I can't take it anymore. You can leave a thousand messages and sometimes it's days before anyone calls back, if someone calls back at all. The dr. is a lovely sweet woman. I think she has an overload of patients and I hate that for her. I'm currently looking for a new physician because of the issues I have just trying to get seen.

The first visit was great and she was very helpful. Second visit, the main staff/secretary, I'm not sure who exactly, was extremely rude. Took me into an office and accused me of rescheduling my appointment, after I had already been sitting in the lobby for about 20 minutes. I told her I hadn't called to reschedule because I had taken off work for it. She insisted that I had and she had gotten the call herself, but then, in a very passive aggressive said it was fine since I was here anyway. Very strange! I called about a year later I called regarding a prescription and wanting to schedule a general visit. I know it was the same woman because of her voice and she aggressively told me that I hadn't been seen. I knew this, I was trying to explain the reason for the need of an appointment. She rudely stated the next time would be at least two months out, discouraging my request. Doctor is nice, but this staff member will bring this office's reputation down.

I like Dr Goore, I had no problem with my Dr. Love her. I have other family members go to her also. When you have a problem she jump right on it and get it taken care of.

I felt comforted as soon as I arrived at Dr Goore's office. She and her staff always inspire confidence. I have always received excellent results. Thank you very much to everyone.

Dr. Goore has been my primary care physician since I arrived in Montgomery. I am most confident in the care she has given to me.

We love Dr. Goore - my mom, sister & I have been seeing her as primary physician for a few years now. She & her staff are so warm, helpful, knowledgeable & professional. They all take time to listen & carefully explain test results, plus schedule appts with other doctors as needed, including a small surgery last year, which was helpful. I live out of state part of the year, but always do my physical with her, when I am in AL. She is the best doctor I have ever had.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Goore she is well knowledgeable on health issues And any weight problems. Staff is excellent!!!! Very informative !!!!! My entire family has come on board with Dr. Goore practice and her staff??????We love them. I would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Goore is absolutely the BEST physician I've gone to. She's my primary health doctor. She's in no rush to assist my needs and figure out the best route that I need to take for my health. Her staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

It was wonderful. She takes the time to come in and talk with you about all concerns. She does not have any other doctors seeing you are talking to you. She becomes familiar with your illness and send you to the hospital for all emergencies.
