Dr. Myra Aguirre-Carlos, MD

Her staff is ignorant, immature, or just plain doesn't know what they're doing. The doctor is a poor listener and treats me like I'm stupid. She seems to do the bare minimum.

It takes forever for her to order and approve medical tests ordered by other doctors, such as their own extended care doctor or other outside specialists. The papers sit on her desk for weeks even if you call a few times for follow ups. Either she is disorganized or inefficient.

IT TAKES A MONTH OR LONGER TO GET ANY RESULTS. SHE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT VERY SMART. SHE DIDNT CARE ABOUT MY HEALTH.

she is always double booked, confirmed by her staff. which means she only has 10 minutes or less for each patient . she treats you like your issues aren't as important as her getting all her appointments in for the day. as I was talking to her she was walking out the door and my issues weren't addressed.

My comment is toward the unfriendly and argumentative office staff of Dr. Carlos named Maria who sounded arrogant over the phone, unwilling to relay our urgent concern for Dr. Carlos simply because Dr. Carlos was with a patient next door and wanted us to wait for another day to be heard by our doctor.... Hello????? the patient badly needs a remedy, asap! Why tomorrow when Dr. Carlos is available? Does Dr. Carlos know about this? I'm afraid this staff is ruining Dr. Carlos' practice.

OK, this doctor might be billing the insurance company just to get EXTRA money. She put stuff in my medical record that really does not pertain to me. I am generally healthy but she has made my health look like a nightmare in the record. I am now thinking that she is some kind of bigoted person. She did not want to give me my medication, seems like she has a habit of doing this to patients; rest assured I will be filing a complaint to where she works.

I was a new patient of dr. Carlos's and she was very nice and easy to talk to. I arrived on time and was able to get in to see her within minutes of arriving. She listened to my concerns and explain what are next steps were. She has a great sense of humor and I would recommend anyone to go see dr. Carlos for all their medical needs.

I feel like everytime i go there, she is always in a hurry to leave the room. The staff are aweful. No caring service and makes you feel they are just doing their job. And job it is. They don't care if you pay more using services outside because they don't know. They said it will always be your responsibility. So for billing question, they don't know. Scheduling? None that will fit any working adult. For them it is this schedule or wait.The doctor doesn't even call you back if you request one.
