Dr. Mustafa Pirzada, MD

He helped me with a last minute scare when my family had to promptly leave for an emergency at the last minute. He took me back immediately and wrote me prescriptions with care and concern. I am very glade that He is my current Psychologist and even with my sudden anxiety outburst he was able to calm me down and greatly help me. I highly recommend his.

Dr. Pirzada didn’t listen to my concerns nor hear me as a patient. He requested I have an appt every 2wks yet no change to medications or dosage. I believe the only reason for frequent appts was self serving and not for helping me the patient. Dr. Pirzada was always condescending and used most of the appt time to tout about himself. When I was in crisis he didn’t help me just said for me to make another appt in a week. I never did nor will I ever again. I also was overcharged for copays.I wouldn’t have know in till reviewing my claims and speaking with my ins. Lotus Psychiatry charged me for seeing a specialist. Dr. Pirzada is not a specialist under my ins with Aetna. When the doctor learned I was being refunded he was very rude to me during an apptThe office Mngr Tiffany is unprofessional. I’m owed a refund for a dos overpymt I’ve given the office proof of the pymts received by Lotus Psychiatry yet Tiffany refuses to refund me no reason given.

Just met with Dr. Pirzada and had a very pleasant experience. Very easy to speak with, was caring and professional. Easy to schedule appointment.

I posted a not very favorable review of Dr Pirzada and guess what, they had the nerve to call me and ask me to take it down because we had signed a form stating that if we didnt attend the appointment we would be charged $199. No offer of a refund or anything. Just to recap, my wife had a teleconference scheduled and as I mentioned in my original review is not very computer literate and was unable to log in. She was more than willing to speak by telephone. The woman I spoke with was trying to blame me as I was supposed to teach my wife how to do it and since I wasnt there it was my fault. Sorry but I had to work. Just for the record out of 12 reviews 8 were 1 star.

I had the worst encounter with this doctor he was rude, unprofessional bedside manner none this person just should not be in this field and find a job somewhere else!!!! He is the worst psychiatrist I’ve had the displeasure of meeting. I would go out of my way to not recommend this person - you know sometimes people just don’t belong in jobs they have no business being in

THIS DOCTOR IS HORRIBLE! RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL He is a staff psychiatrist at JFK North and treated my daughter. By no means should he be treating children and teenagers. He has no compassion and no bedside manner. And I was told he could see my daughter outside of the hospital as "he takes cash or credit cards". I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON

I had an excellent experience! Dr Pirzada and his office staff were very professional. They were courteous and considerate about getting me in and out of the office in a timely manner. Dr Pirzada was empathic, caring,and considerate. He listened attentively to all my needs. I recommend him without any reservations!
