He abandoned me after surgery. He nor his office has called me back after surgery. How do you not communicate with patients after surgery?? If I knew this would happen, I would have chosen another surgeon. His lack of follow up care is disgusting. As a retired RN , I would never abandon any patient after surgery. I am at the most vulnerable and have been abandoned by those placed in my care. Do better Dr. Basker ????

Absolutely horrible. Stay far far away from this practice even if it’s your last option. There is another provider close by that will give you the professional and personal attention you need. I cannot believe this man is allowed to practice medicine much less surgery.

My family Dr. referred me to a Gastroenterologist who said I needed a surgeon and referred me to Dr. Basker. It did not occur to me that a Dr. in the Humana Network would refer me to an out of network Dr. When I got to Dr Basker's office the staff took my co-payment. Weeks later I received a bill for his entire services. I called and was told the billing person would call me back. Didn't happen. Weeks later I got another bill and and called and was told the billing person would call me back. Didn't happen. Weeks later I got another bill. This time my wife called and was promised the billing person would call her back. Didn't happen. Finally we found out from Humana that Dr. Basker was not in the Humana Network. I think the office staff is totally incompetent for not telling me Dr. Basker was not in the Humana Net work and not returning calls.

Dr. Basker is a true professional and caring doctor. During my emergency hospitalization last year he was the only doctor that listened to me and provided detailed responses to quiet my concerns that gave me confidence. After surgery care is amazing, still exhibit care and concern for me as his patient though its very noticeable he's stretched thin juggling his schedule between hospital and office but I've never felt rushed during any appointments and feel he cares about my total health.

I was thoroughly impressed with Dr basker. He not only answered questions in his office but called after work to answer follow-up questions that I had. He took the time to make sure my family and I felt comfortable with the surgery. And after the surgery visited every day I was in the hospital and took our Medical concerns and listened and adapted medication accordingly. Very nice man and talented.

Dr.Basker is a great doctor. I have found him to be a very patient and compassionate surgeon, always attentive to my health concerns and questions. He recently performed an outpatient procedure for me. My personal schedule was causing conflict in scheduling, however, Dr. Basker assured me that he would work around my schedule in order to perform the procedure at my convenience and that is exactly what he did. Wait times in the waiting area may be a little longer than desired but he is great.

The wait time was over 1 hour 15 minutes on both of my appointments in the waiting area, another good 10-15 minutes in the exam room until Dr. Basker came in. He seems like a nice doctor but his staff is far from professional. Poor phone call returns, and seem more busy chit chatting with one another rather then helping patients. I there for would not recommend this office and will not return myself.
