Dr. V has always listened to me and helped me with questions.

I was diagnosed by Dr. V with OCD and depression when I was 11 years old now 37. Dr. V has always been professional and understanding. He isn’t the most talkative but I’ve never felt neglected nor untreated.

I have been a patient of Dr v for over 20 years. In the beginning of believe he truly cared about his patients but over the years he has become nothing but a rapid fire pill pusher. He recently over medicated me to the point of serotonin poisoning and I almost died! Instead of helping me he 'fired' me as his patient and turn me into the police? When he was treating me for substance abuse he never turned me into the police it was obviously a move to protect himself. Well 20 plus years of medical records are not going to protect him now!!! I have turned him into the medical board, and am filing a malpractice lawsuit! I've never been so disappointed in a Dr. Especially since he's been to my doctor for over half my life ???? There are many excellent psychiatrists from which to choose in the Amarillo area. I wish you all well and in finding a psychiatrist who will diagnose you correctly and medicate you properly if needed!

I have been seeing Dr. V for several years now and I think he's great. Very knowledgeable, listens and answers any questions. The only thing I ever have trouble with is rude staff that answers the phones. Very cold and very unhelpful. I realize they're busy, but dealing with people who have stress, emotional and behavioral issues...they should know better.

Has absolutely no idea what he's talking about. Spoke with a psychologist in 2016 about his diagnoses back in 1997 & 2004. The psychologist responded, He forgot why he went into this field. Very money hungry & office staff are very lazy when it comes to requested documents, almost as if they don't want them to be given out.
