Nice, interested but…
Telehealth
…trying to get prescriptions refilled is like pulling teeth. On occasion a much more expensive type of medicine has been prescribed. Called FOUR times to get one benign, boring prescription refilled. NYU Langone is a money making machine. It is not the doctors’ fault (though I suppose they could revolt) it is NYU’s emphasis on revenue per doc. They care about money, not patients. This could probably be said of most huge medical facilities, of course.

Rushed experience and questionable skill level
Although Dr. Khan has a professional demeanor, I arrived on time and he saw me for all of five minutes. He asked few questions but ordered many tests. The results were all normal or inconclusive.I gave up and saw another doctor who gave me an entirely different, but accurate, diagnosis just from examining me and asking pertinent questions.I would not recommend Dr. Khan unless your medical needs are extremely simple.

The Best Doctor You Can Ask For
Dr. Khan is one of the most thorough, compassionate, and caring doctors I've ever had. He takes the time to sit and listen to everything you have and want to discuss, and he always provides you with the best advice and treatment options. Visits with him are quick, but he is always sure to provide in-depth analysis to whatever issue that you are having. His approach to his work and his patients is one of a kind, and I highly recommend him as a doctor. A doctor like him is rare and hard to come by, and you can tell he loves what he does which makes the experience all the more pleasant.

Excellent
Dr. Khan is an exceptional physician. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable during my appointment and made sure to acknowledge all of my concerns. He met with me prior to a surgery I was having and made me feel at ease with my decision. Such a positive experience from when I first walked into the building, the front desk workers, medical assistants, nurses, phlebotomist etc. I highly recommend Dr. Khan as your primary care provider.

Unpleasant experience
Believe the negative reviews—this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a healthcare “professional.” Their behavior was borderline unprofessional. I called for a consultation for a family member through a referral. We decided to give it a try, only for him to refuse to see the patient. He stated that they only prescribe medication and do not provide reports or second opinions. It’s deeply concerning that a healthcare provider would prescribe medication without a proper evaluation. This was an incredibly negative experience. Mental health assessments require sensitivity, and someone so lacking in compassion shouldn’t be entrusted with such an important responsibility.

Avoid this doctor
This doctor was clearly inappropriate with me. He gaslighted me by implying incorrectly that I had a problem with my heart and was not able to travel abroad. Later, I found out it was because he disapproved of my political beliefs. Avoid this doctor at all costs.
