Very rude, only cares about himself
Horrible and rude to patients in hospital, will cut you off in middle of sentence and walk out. Doesnt care about patients or their comfort. Very rude to women in general. Horrible to work with, if I could give zero stars I would. He needs to find another job. Awful.

Disappointed....
I am very disappointed the patient doctor relationship went South. I primarily see my GP for my thyroid medicine. I like to do all blood work just to see where my cholesterol and everything else is. I am not big on prescription medications for every ailment that you have but I do believe in healthy eating and exercises as much as you can. My choice. Unfortunately because I would not take the four medications that doctor Irfan tried prescribing to me he told me that maybe I should find another doctor, one that would be more the doctor that I would like. I asked him why? Then he asked me what are you looking for in a doctor, I told him a doctor that listens to me that gives me his opinion but ultimately understands my body my choice on what I want to take or not take. He told me to find another doctor. Pill pusher, pharmaceutical companies peddler. He couldn't make money off of me through all these prescriptions so no need to be my doctor. Of course this is my opinion.I still have that

I, as well as my wife and son, are patients
I read the poor reviews in disbelief as in mine, my wife and son’s case has always been truly outstanding. Thorough, competent, never rushing, informative and have always felt he was concerned in providing us the best care possible. Office can be difficult to contact but if you can get through, very helpful.

Horrible experience
Met with Dr. Irfan while he was addressing my mother in the hospital where he told my mother that she didn't have to take any medication being given to her by the hospital. This in turn severely complicated her stay and prevented her from getting the prescriptions that she needed to recover. Just an extremely poor choice or words and bedside manner.

It was videoconferencing. First time to see this doctor. Took his time asking questions on what was going on. Took his time explaining what he felt needed to be done. Never felt rushed. Seemed very knowledgeable on what he was saying. When making my appointment was able to see him next day. Was very happy with my visit. Also I would recommend him to others. Staff was kind and friendly. Was able to walk me though my setting up for videoconferencing very easily.

This doctor is very rude and arrogant has a poor bedside manner. He screams at his staff. He doesn’t care about the patient and waits until the patient is on their deathbed before he snaps into action. Beware not a good doctor or person. Very very rude!

If it was possible to give less than a 1 rating I would have. Horrible doctor if you can even call him that. My husband went to see him last month for a well person exam. He said that the doctor listened to his chest and asked a few questions and that was all. No real exam was performed. He ordered some bloodwork and said to come back in a month because he was going on vacation. The bloodwork raised some concerns for both my husband and myself. I believe it is important to do research before going back so that we could have an intelligent conversation with the doctor. My husband asked me to go with him so we could make sure to get all of our questions answered. When I brought up my concern to this doctor he brushed it off. He said that there was not really a problem because this is the first time the blood test showed out of range. I mentioned that with older people the parameters for this test were different. He said very rudely " That is your opinion mamm!" I said no, It is

please do not use this Dr. for you primary Doctor. I am in total dis beleif that this man saw my father for some time. he gets a cold , also tells him he is having numbing feeling in his hands, that he had a couple of spells where he went down to 1 knee and wasblacking out. he discharged my father with prescriptions. later that day about 4 hrs later, my father is being rushed to the hospital , for a stroke and resperitory problems, has been in a medical coma and has been this way for a week. we are not sure he is going to come out of this. please be vary careful of this man if he is your DR. just make sure if your loved one sees him to get second options there life may depend on it.

Family member was being treated at Tombal Regional Hosptial and when Dr. Irfan came in and examined the patient. When he asked if we had any questions and we did his response was short, rude and he talked down to us and never gave a straight answer at which point he walked out.

Called multiple times to set up an appointment and never was able to reach a real person. Always tried from 8am to 5pm and different days of the week over the course of 3 weeks before giving up and switching PCPs.

I wouldn't even leave 1 star but unfortunately I didn't have a choice. I am currently under the care of Dr. Irfan @ Tomball Regional Hospital, waiting to be discharged. I was admitted last night by my nephrologist. Irfan was rude, combative, & argumentative. To sum it up he was a bully. He told me, "it's not your stones causing the pain & you won't be having any procedures to remove them here @ my hospital" even though my nephrologist confirmed the stones were the cause.

Dr. Irfan and I graduated from the same medical school in the same year. His skills and competencies in the field of internal medicine, even when he was a student, were awesome. His interest in medicine and his learning confidence were outstanding.
