Had follow up appointment with Dr. Akhtar, after being released from hospital, took 2 months to get into see the Dr. During my 'evaluation' Dr. Akhtar stated that there was no reason for me to be concerned with my irregular heart beat and that I could not be 'feeling' it. He stated that after double bypass surgery there was no reason for concern before 5 years. Then he proceeded to tell me I needed to train my back better so that I could ride my Airdyne more than 15 minutes a day as I was attempting to leave his office with assistance of a cane due to neurological condition in lower back.
