Horrible!
Malik is very condescending and lack any empathy or sympathy for patients. He absolutely hates to be questioned and does not return phone calls in a timely manner. He is not open to hearing patients’ concerns about diagnoses. Very cold, uncaring, and lacks bedside manner. However, I will say that he wants your copay. He is unwilling to do anything via phone even with established patients like send in a prescription. The visits are useless because he has already made up in his mind that you aren’t as sick as you proclaimed or try to investigate new symptoms. Just horrible!

Living Under Pressure Unleashes Strength
I am a 31 year LUPUS survivor.. I have been seeing Dr. Malik for over 10 years. Dr. Malik is very attentive of my medical needs. He has a very calm demeanor and never pressure you into any treatment that you are uncomfortable with. I am glad I chose Dr. Malik as my Rheumatologist. I have Lupus but it doesn’t define me. I am now strong now because to me Lupus means. LivingUnderPressure UnleashesStrength.

Dr. Malik is trustworthy
I’ve been going to Dr. Malik for 9 months now. His staff are friendly and professional while scheduling appointments over the phone and when you get to the office they’re friendly as well. My wait time has been fine so far for my appointments. No more than 15 minutes. I did have to wait about 40 minutes for a phone appointment once but I’m a retired medical professional and understand how easy it is to get behind schedule sometimes. Dr. Malik is kind and professional and knowledgeable about RA and medications. He listens to my concerns and is quick to explain any tests or meds changes he recommends. I do recommend him. If you’re looking for a new best friend then keep looking because he’s to the point, but if you’re looking for a knowledgeable doctor, give him a try.

Relief
While sometimes the wait times are long Dr. Malik has always taken time to hear my concerns and come up with a plan of action for my RA. I have been a patient for several years and while my RA has been in and out of remission, I have been very satisfied with the care Dr. Malik has provided.

Dr. Malik has improved my arthritis conditions
I’ve been seeing Dr. Malik for a few years for erosive arthritis. My condition has greatly improved. I was experiencing pain in my fingers and they were becoming bent with knots on some finger joints. My hands and fingers no longer hurt and the knots have not increased. I’m pleased with the care that I receive from Dr. Malik.

Amazing & best Rheumatologist ever!
Dr. Malik has been treating me for my lupus for a year now, and I've come a long way from where I used to feel. Not exactly out of the woods completely, but my body has dramatically felt better! Dr Malik is kind, knowledgeable and really truly cares for his patients. He's also respectful and patient. I highly highly recommend Dr. Malik! I've seen many doctors and nobody compares to him truthfully.

Better than most
I went to Dr Malik and he was not the kind of doctor I wanted to see. I wanted someone who cared and was nice and warm. I went to another doctor who also wasn't nice and he was a quack and took me off plaquenil and then by the time I went back to Dr. Malik who told me what another Dr had told me-that plaquenil was going to be for life....I was in a lupus flare and in agonizing pain that we couldn't easily pinpoint so it went on for months!Dr Malik isn't perfect but I think he knows what he's doing and that should count for more than feelings. I regret my previous review and the people who may have not gone to him bc of it, especially if they went to the quack instead

Give him a shot – Oct 03, 2023

I waited forever for my appointment and when he came in, he did a brief exam in which he touched me “feather light” on my arms in a few areas, asked some questions and proceeded to tell me he didn’t think I had fibromyalgia that I had been diagnosed with 10 years ago. He ordered a ton of X-rays and labs and set a video appointment 2 weeks later to discuss the findings. I waited in a video waiting room for over 40 minutes and he never showed up. WTH?? This quality (or lack thereof) is unacceptable and if that isn’t enough, his notes contradicted himself several times in the same report. For example, “patient states no family history or rheumatoid arthritis but a paragraph above acknowledges my sibling has severe rheumatoid arthritis. How can I trust anything he says??

Being realistic
Dr. Malik and his staff gave me my life back. I was misdiagnosed for years with Lupus but clearly have Ra. There are many different drugs for autoimmune disease basically they all work the same. There is no magic shot or pill, just something to slow the progression down. We can't blame a physician if the meds don't cure us. They are there to give us relief and a better longer life. I wished they had a magic pill or shot, but I have to be realistic. Not saying people don't have issues with test results or diagnosis cause I got the wrong treatment for years. My personal experience has always been positive.

Try someone else!
Dr. Malik does not listen to his patients. I have gone to him for almost a year and I have yet to have any relief from my RA. His office staff are wonderful, however, he rushes through the appointments. He has seen that I am continuously inflamed, however, he refuses to provide any additional solutions. I do not recommend him.

Terrible
Awful. Clearly did not read referral notes before entering exam room. Said my labs indicated MCTD, but had to be a fluke. That he didn’t feel there was anything wring with me. In the after visit notes he totally contradicts himself. Begins saying patient comes with history of ….. and then at the end states the patient has no history of…. Saw another rheumatologist six weeks later and I’m much better now with medications for my conditions. Too busy to listen, wait hours for appointment, and clearly doesn’t care.
