There are so many General Practitioners in Atlanta, your choices are huge, choosing the correct doctor can be life changing to the health care for you and your family. I've been a patient of Dr Zafar for about 3 years. My experience with Dr. Zafar and her staff has been; they are the most responsive, caring and perceptive general medical practice I've been associated with. Dr. Zafar and her staff have been an excellent provider, I feel very fortunate to be a patient of her practice.

Dr Zafar is a great Doctor loved her, her staff on the other hand they are so unprofessional . Never could get anyone in the office to pick up the phone. Ran out of my trulicy 2 weeks ago. Left message with never heard back from staff., Unfortunately because of her incompetent staff I have found another primary Doctor...

I love Dr. Zafar, she is a great provider. The staff how ever will make you so irritable you don't want to come back. Abby T. in particular. If you don't receive an appt reminder then you get charged the 35, which I understand but when she begins to fight with you about how everyone else receives a text message or a phone call and I didn't doesn't make sense to her. She doesn't have customer services skills and she needs to be moved to another position or released. How can you work in the medical field but can't talk to people with common courtesy or just plain being professional. She fought with me on the phone and I just don't understand how it is okay.

This office is very deceptive. After assuring me they accepted my insurance I had a physical. Upon checking out they charged me $300+ for physical that was at no charge through my employer. They explained they didn’t have approval for my insurance and they were working on getting approval & would refund me. Still waiting months later!!!!!

Dr Zafar is wonderful! But her front office staff is so horrible that both my husband and I will find a new doctor at a different clinic!

She has been my primary care provider for three years, and I have had numerous visits. It was often difficult to get an appointment with her due to her popularity and numerous patients. As a result, I sometimes had to see another doctor or just wait months for Dr. Zafar. A few months after my last visit, I requested a routine annual refill for a blood pressure med, but she refused until I visited her at her new clinic. There was no medical reason to refuse, as I had recently visited her. I messaged her that she was still my primary care doctor, and I saw no reason to expend Medicare funds just to establish myself with a new clinic. She declined. Furthermore, I was not advised on what to do about lab work that she had scheduled for me. Her new receptionist/assistant was not helpful other than insisting I visit the new clinic to get established. I had been dumped - unless I came up with funding for a not-needed visit. I would not recommend her at all.

Listens, doesn’t make you feel rushed, thorough, excellent diagnostician.

Been a patient for over 10 years, never got a notification directly from her about moving practices. Now she can’t take insurance, can’t refill my existing medications and I’m left without my medication. The lady on the phone was very unhelpful and gave a fake apology to add insult to injury. This is not a good sign if the front desk is already this way. I’d be weary about investing time and money into this practice because they will leave you high and dry.

Dr. Zafar is the most knowledgeable and compassionate doctor I've had the pleasure of claiming as my doctor. I'm so glad I waited for my first visit and I plan on staying with her from now on throughout the rest of my life. She is my husbands doctor as well and he says the same. I really like her and her staff.
