My BP had been very low for several days. Walked in with memo and list of meds. Doctor had cancellation and saw me and lowered my amlodipine. He said to always come if I need him with what I have not walk-in clinic or ER. I just prefer him. He is a compassionate awesome doctor. I am blessed

I have severe leg pain from blockages that also make it difficult to walk but had to get clearance from a cardiologist before I could have the procedure to repair the blood flow. I saw Dr Tawam and he said he had to do a stress test. I explained that I had lung surgeries and whenever I get short of breath, I have a severe anxiety attacks and my heart rate goes up and I feel like I’m drowning. I asked for ways to minimize this and he said “I think you will be fine” and left. Against my better judgement, I scheduled the test but they couldn’t get me in for almost a month. I explained my pain but they didn’t care. A few days before the test, they called and said they have to reschedule and can’t get me on for another 3 weeks from my original appointment. I politely explained how much pain I was in and that I would have to find another cardiologist if they can’t get me in sooner. She then said to call her back if I change my mind and hung up on me.

This was my first visit with Dr Tawam! His staff is courteous, helpful and friendly! The doctor took his time and I didn’t feel pressured or rushed! All in all a good experience!
