He saved my life
I have been a patient of Dr Nadjafi since 1996 and he has seen me through and stabilized my bi-polar disorder. Without his help I doubt if I would be alive today. He is kind and compassionate and responds to my changing needs as I age. I will see no other psychiatrist.

Morteza Nadjafi is very irresponsible. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Gives the patient overall guidance
A history of doctors and he is like my relationship with a doctor I had as a young man, and I like the staff too. Patient is the responsibility and I find a better life with each session. I owe it to him for medication and guidance to get a better me. Thank you and lots of years staying happier!

I’ve Been with him 10 years too long - Dismissive is an understatement. Trying to find someone who cares. He doesn’t want to listen and refuses to refer me to a therapist who will, even though there are several in his practice. He should retire.

Dr. Nadjafi saved my life. After battling severe depression for 40 years, he is the only doctor to try an MAOI to treat my depression. I have been in remission now for a year!

As a rule, I never read reviews before I see a doctor, because I would not like my opinions swayed before I have met them. Seeing Dr. Nadjafi without first reading them was a huge error in judgment. Compassionless, cold, rigid, and offensive, are only a few adjectives I would use to describe him. I understand most psychiatrists are clinical and distant, but I went in for anxiety and came back with depression and my anxiety worsened, crippling with his treatment. If you would like to be treated less than a roach squashed at the bottom of his shoe, I implore you to go see him. If you would like to be treated with respect and dignity, a doctor who truly wants to work with you towards progress, seek help elsewhere. Good luck. You will need it if you see Dr. Nadjafi. Any positive reviews are most likely written by his staff or interns point blank.

He is incredibly arrogant, doesn't listen when you're telling him what you've been experiencing, doesn't listen when you tell him what meds you've been in the past or how you reacted to them and comes to a conclusion about your diagnosis based on god only knows what because it's like talking to a wall.

Absolutely awful psychiatrist. Should not be practicing. Kept me on medications that clearly had adverse effects and made my depression and anxiety worse. Never took my health claims seriously. Will be searching for another provider soon.

I was placed under his care while my regular NP was on leave. He had me quit the antidepressants she had prescribed (which had serious withdrawal effects that he never mentioned) and placed me on antipsychotics (I have a mood disorder, not psychosis). When he could be bothered to pay attention and not take cell phone calls in the middle of my appointment, he would dismiss all of my suicidal ideation as me being "socially awkward". I nearly killed myself several times under his care. Stay away.
