Dr, Rampertapp is a noncaring, poor doctor.
Breathing tests are taken after doctor's vist, which requires another visit ,when they are done, even though I am a returning patient. Referred to me as elderly and that my breathing problems could be attributed to my breast size. The receptionist, who is so busy on the computer she doesn't even make eye contact with the patient, asked me what medication the doctor is ordering for my nebulizer. I told her to ask the doctor. There were bugs in the office. Definiately stay away from this doctor.

office manager is abusive
My husband is a disabled vet that was referred to this practice though the VA community care program. We have had to deal with Alisa, the office manager, on several occasions to get a letter for the VA travel department for my husband's reimbursement for expenses. Alisa, at least 3 times has REFUSED to provide the VA-required document, stating that 'they don't give letters', which is NOT TRUE! My husband was given letters as requested before from this office. Travel documents must be submitted within 30 days of visit to be eligible for reimbursement. The last straw was this morning --- she hung up on my husband and again REFUSED to address this situation. No matter how good the care at this practice is, it's just not worth having to deal with someone that is RUDE AND OBVIOUSLY IMCOMPETENT! And by the way, he’s never even seen the doctor!!!

Unnecessary visits just to make money
My visits are just a transfer from a dr from another state. I have had to go in so many times. I understand the initial visit obviously. Then to check my machine. Then to put extra filters in my machine (that was on recall). Now they want CT and lung test. I had all that done in my home state. So now they won’t sign off on my supplies. I do not wanna pay hundreds of dollars to keep visiting this dr just to get my supplies. This is insane.

He was fantastic with my dad. He answered all of our questions, sent us off for a biopsy and followed up in a timely manner with recommendations for future care plan options. Thank you Dr. Rampertaap!

The new doctor is a breath of fresh air! I saw Dr. Gomez with my mom and he was great. It was refreshing to have a doctor that listened to us, wasn't in a hurry, and included us in decisions. He even gave my mom a sample of a new medication to make sure it worked before she had to buy it. I will be requesting Dr. Gomez every time I go to this office.

I frankly do not understand these negative reviews of Dr Rampertaap. Here was my experience. During consult on first meet with Dr R, He asked precise questions and when he had what he asks for, he cut me off and moved on to next question. I find that a positive, he sees a lot of patients and tries to stay on schedule, so as not to inconvenience other patients. I was so impressed with his knowledge of so many diseases that don't fall under the purview of a lung or sleep disturbance doctor. I have a complicated health story with a couple of less known diseases, he was well versed in them. Dr R was my 4th sleep doctor and the first to get me sorted out. I don't need to be coddled too, or use him as my therapist to throw out verbose answers to each question he asked. I need a Dr who gets me results. He is doing that in 2 efficient visits and a sleep study. No more than a 10 min wait to see him. That is a Dr who cares about and respects his patients. He is a gem and I recommend him highly

Doctor does not communicate. He is offended you ask any questions and has a terrible bedside manner, refuses to answer questions and insults other doctors. He refused to speak with my cardiologist and general practitioner. He misdiagnosed me and prescribed expensive medications. I found out through other channels he regularly endorses these same medications at medical conferences, I feel this is why he prescribes them after my initial visit I never saw him again only his PA. Stay clear!

Wow. How can this doctor still be in practice? After multiple visits, I wasn't able to get any answers. I came in for a lung issue and I get told that I need CPAP. Finally went elsewhere. I was able to have my lung test and office visit on the same day, and walked out of the new doc's office with answers! I'm feeling better already. And, no, I don't need CPAP. As for the review about the guy getting yelled at, I believe him. I heard the doctor yelling at one patient - horrible experience.

Avoid this guy! After a sleep study, I was prescribed a sleep apnea machine. Five yrs later it needs replacing I requested my records and was told there would be a three-week wait as they were taking vacations! After three weeks I needed to pick them up personally (20-mile drive), as there was a $1 per page charge. I picked them up, paid, faxed them to the provider who informed me they were incomplete. For three days now I have been leaving messages for Dr. Rampartap - no response!

My mother had a lung biopsy performed by this doctor. She said he never would talk to her or tell her anything even though he documents that he does discuss their case. She refuses to see him ever again.

Bedside manners of this physician is fair to be overly generous. No active interaction between doctor and patient and seems like he often doesn't listen to what is being said to him. Several visits has resulted in zero results. Waste of time.

very inconsiderate and unprofessional. Got angry when I asked him specific questions about my sleep apnea. He used profanity and walked out slamming the door leaving me alone in the exam room.
