My experience with Dr Brotman was wonderful. She is very well versed. It does not matter what ailment or issue I ask her about, even though she is an OB GYNE, she has a suggestion and it works. She is a very caring and sincere person. She is very matter of fact in her approach and she listens and hears what you are not saying. I really think that teaching is her calling. She will explain to you until you understand and she always has medical students following her around. If I were in my childbearing years she certainly would be my physician. I highly recommend her for someone who is looking for the full OB GYNE experience. You will be forever changed.

I had a very poor experience with Dr. Brotman. She was 1.5 hours late for the appointment. While she did ask if her students could be in the room during the procedure, she did not ask if they could assist with the procedure. They were ill-prepared to be assisting, which made the painful procedure last longer. She was patronizing during the visit and require that I pay an additional co-pay and visit her office for test results that could have been mailed. I never returned and would not recommend

On the day after I gave birth, she recommended I adopt any other babies that I wanted because I would need a hysterectomy. She only met me twenty minutes before my cesarean, cut me open, photographed my fibroid/growth and made the immediate assumption that my reproductive organs be removed. She commented on my growth that she could be famous for discovering it. She's cold hearted.
