Dr. Monika Moni, MD

Dr. Moni is all about completing as many patient visits as possible with no or little care about actual issues. Does not respond to test results. She orders the tests and then they go into a black hole within the Mercy system

I find Dr Moni to be very caring and empathetic.

I took my infant son to see Dr. Moni for a wellness check. With no assessment and very few questions, she outlined a plan of care for him. I had hesitations regarding her recommendations, so I expressed my concerns and shared my thinking, hoping to have a conversation to come up with the best plan together. Dr. Moni seemed very annoyed by this, and continually repeated her plan in an increasingly condescending manner, as if I wasn’t listening or did not understand. She clearly did not want to have a discussion or hear my opinion; she only wanted to hear: “yes ma’am”. She was so frustrated she informed me that if I did not go forward with her plan of care she may not be willing to keep my son as a patient. This ended the conversation. Overall, her bedside manner was horrendous, and she did not listen at all. It was obvious that she is unwilling to say: “I’m wrong”, or accept ideas other than her own. This is very dangerous in a doctor. I definitely do not recommend Dr. Moni.
