Thorough and personable
Pleased to reconnect with Dr. Demko, who got me through a nasty shingles episode when my then MD was out of the country. I later was under the impression she'd retired as I didn't see her in the usual location when seeking her out as my new MD. My then current MD had denied me a mammogram after I told her I'd gotten my recent Covid shot, saying it would skew the results (there were/are no studies supporting that). She didn't even visually check out the irregularity I was concerned about. I lost 4 months seeking a new MD to authorize a mammogram. (no one accepting new patients). I finally found an MD that authorized a mammogram that confirmed my fears, went thru 5 biopsies and had a mastectomy 4 months from the times I first requested the mammogram. Discovering Sr. Demko was indeed still active, and even tho I had to wait 6 wks for an appt, I did so, and am grateful to have her in my corner She is as thorough and painstaking as I recalled and I am glad to be in her care.

No way Never calls with test results
My mother saw her on a Wed and we had to take her to the ER the next day. She never called to check on her. Also never diagnosed the problem

Do not recommend
I first saw Dr. Demko about five or six years ago, and though she seemed nice enough, I had a really hard time understanding her accent, so decided to switch to another doctor. Sadly, that didn't work out because the new doctor (who I loved) moved too far away from me. So, at some point I decided to try Dr. Demko again, as over time I seemed to have forgotten why I switched in the first place. As soon as she came into the exam room, it all came back to me, and it was even harder to understand her with the mask on. I made the mistake of mentioning that we like to have a cocktail or two some evenings, and next thing I knew, I was signed up for some rehab program, which I didn't realize until I got home and looked at my paperwork. Yeah, not going back.

impressive. she listened to my concerns then proceeded to examine me. I needed blood work and an ultrasound. it was a little comical because she actually goes thru a checklist out loud so she 1. doesn't miss anything and 2. she makes sure she does things in order so the insurance company covers what they should.

Dr. Demko is absolutely amazing. My doctor had left the practice and I was ill and she was available so I went to her. She was so attentive to my needs and genuinely cared what I had to say. As soon as i left i called my insurance to assign her as my PCP. I have recommended many friends and family to see her. I have seen many doctors, but none like her. I wish more doctors were like her! Southwest is lucky to have her.

Location: Strongsville I'm so glad to have found Dr Demko through my insurance plan. She is a young progressive doctor who has listened to my concerns, and suggestions about my own health research on subjects that seem to effect me. She has always listened, and when appropriate acted on what I've shared. She shows genuine concern, while also having a broad knowledge of every condition I've brought to her attention for guidance or treatment. Dr Demko is an excellent primary care doctor.
