Dr. Mona Mofid, MD

Dr. Mona is the best dermatologist I've ever met. My entire family now sees her on a regular basis (husband and 2 kids). She is kind, caring, and extremely knowledgeable. Her offices are beautiful and her staff is friendly and caring. I would recommend her to all family and friends.

Dr. Mona Mofid (Dr. Mona as she is affectionately called) is a doctor among all doctors. I have never encountered a smarter, more compassionate, more creative, more ‘human’ doctor in my entire life. Dr Mona is the embodiment of the medical trifecta: heart, soul and smarts. I had been living with an excruciating condition for more than 15 years as a result of cancer related treatment. Over that period of time, I had seen more than a dozen doctors in a desperate attempt to find some relief. Doctor after doctor came up empty handed. In less than 15 minutes, Dr. Mona came up with a creative gameplan that has literally changed my life. I cried tears of gratitude on my follow up visit. Is she a miracle worker? From my experience, I’d say absolutely! Dr. Mona has been voted “best of” year after year after year. And for good reason. Some people in life are fortunate enough to have embraced their true calling. In Dr. Mona’s case, her patients are the lucky beneficiaries of her God-given gifts.

Medical care-givers like Dr. Mona are rare. She takes the time to truly listen. She connects. She laughs, and shares her heart, almost like a therapy session. She suggests skin care tips without shaming. She is phenomenal. There is no one like her, truly. I'd give her TEN out of 5 stars! LOL

Dr. Mona, her support staff and office are incredible. You immediately feel comfortable walking in her office, it's not only beautiful, but it has a sense of calm. Her staff clearly explains everything you need to know before your appointment, but in a way that is less clinical and more caring. Dr. Mona is incredibly through, and genuinely caring, and maybe most of all equal parts knowledgeable and capable, in other words an expert in her field!

I was travelling from Europe to San Diego this summer and had a pretty bad skin condition. It was affecting my face and the condition is unfortunately recurring, but this time it was really bad. I therefore booked an appointment with Ms Mofid, and she advised me to use some OTC lotion, and my skin condition is so much improved. I have been using Rx medication for years, and I have completely dropped it. It is wonderful not to use any of the heavy medication any more. Thank you.

This was my second visit to Dr. Mofid for a general check up on any suspicious areas of concern. She noted one pre-cancerous spot on my nose and we decided to freeze it. She is very good at making you feel comfortable and at ease to talk about any of your concerns. She shared advice on what to look for in the way of suspicious growths. Her new office location is gorgeous and very relaxing. Her staff are very friendly and helpful.

The new office is the most beautiful Drs. office I have ever been in. It's like walking into a spa. You feel relaxed and serine. The patient rooms are just as beautiful and peaceful. Dr. Mofid was kind and very helpful with my concerns. I highly recommend her as a dermatologist!
