Dr. Molly Ashby, DO

I have been a patient with Dr. Ashby since 2015, and she has always been wonderful. She is extremely thorough and blatantly honest about everything. I have always been treated with kindness, humor, and respect during each visit. She saw me for all of my appointments during pregnancy and made sure that any issues I dealt with postpartum were taken care of quickly and effectively. During my annual visits, she always asks about my child, as well as my mental health. She genuinely cares about my questions and takes as long as needed to ensure that I feel comfortable and confident with answers. I would be hard pressed to seek treatment from a different obgyn.

I was a patient for 3 yrs before getting pregnant. I never had any issue with my routine appts but she was a completely different dr during my pregnancy. She never addressed my concerns. She sent me to a high risk specialist and didnt take their advice or at least discuss my options w/ me. At my 36wk appt. I told her my baby wasn't as active. She told me that he was too big and it was normal. Even though I was high risk, she didnt bother to check him. 3 days later my son was dead. While in the hospital for the induction, she never came even after colleague told me she would be in the next morning. After I delivered my stillborn baby, I went to my follow up appts w/ her to find out what happened. Or possible cause for my lost. Ashby didnt know a damn thing. She was able to tell me to see another doctor though. Dr. Washington to be exact since she is a coddler. Who says that to a grieving mother? Dr Ashby is rude, lacks compassion and bedside manners. I would not recommend her or VPFW

I have been seeing Dr. Ashby for several years. She has always taken the time to listen and answer all of my questions. She has a great bedside manner and I felt like I was in the best care during my pregnancy. I will hopefully be seeing her for many years to come and I would fully trust her with any future pregnancies or concerns.

Right from my very first visit with her, my experience wasn't good. I kept visiting to see if my thoughts were wrong but no, they weren't. She will always consider my complaints as normal even without taking a looking at it. At some point i realised it was useless to even complain about any pain or wird feeling. Also she never had a full picture of the patient she was seeing (me) as she will ask me questions on things i supposed she should already be aware of after several visits with her, including information on what i filled in my medical history with the VPFW. Worst of all, no follow up of things going wrong in my health as i will have to remind her that "what do we do with this aspect of my health that was abnormal at the last visit?" then she'll be like "what value was it again? "This is totally unacceptable of someone i entrust my health issues to. These are but a few of the aspects i found wrong during my visits with her.....

Dr. Ashby has been my doctor for five years now and I love her! She was super helpful when I had severe preeclampsia with my son. She put me at ease in a very scary time for me and made sure my son and I were both safe before and after he was was born. She is super attentive and personal. She takes the time to get to know you as a person and makes you feel comfortable. I would highly recommend her!

Will not recommend anyone to go there. She had failed to take my pain and constant complaints seriously and kept brushing it off. I was later diagnosed with serious condition that needed a long physical therapy. I was in pain every single day during my pregnancy and she didn’t see anything wrong with it. 17 months later I’m still in pain and will never fully recover.

Dr A is great! I switched to a female recently and it's been the best experience! I felt like she really listened to me and I was comfortable sharing my concerns with her. I've referred several friend to her and as a nurse myself, I've referred patients to her as well. She is a fantastic DO with whom I fully trust my healthcare!

As someone who hates going to the doctor I have to say Dr. Ashby made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She is patient and personable. Everything you want in your doctor. I would recommend her to anybody.

Dr.Ashby and her staff are friendly, caring and efficient. Dr.Ashby is an excellently skilled physician who provides great care.
