Dr Mahani is a very competent and knowledgable oncologist. He takes the time to explain things and the various options you may have. The office staff has been very helpful when I have needed assistance. I appreciate that assistance as I am a long distance patient. I am not such a big fan of the web site and telephone system.

doctor was ok but the girls in his office were really horrible. Couldn't reach them for refills or anything. I'm really surprised but what can you expect

Had been seeing Dr. Mahani for 4 years. I called the office before my last appointment to let them know I left my previous employer and wasn't my insurance was still active. They told me to still come in and they'd run the insurance, if it goes through fine, pay the $30 copay. if not, just pay $50. I did, they ran the insurance and I paid $30. This was in June 2019. Didn't hear anything until March 2020 they send a bill for $162.06 for that 1 office visit! I called, they said well the insurance didn't go through. I explained what they told me initially. They (Melissa) said no they can't honor that. Asked to speak to someone else, speak to the doctor, wasn't allowed. Called several times wasn't allowed. Even called my insurance they called with me on the phone and couldn't get through. got the number to her supervisor, called for weeks and they never picked up. Now I got a letter from collections. This is how they treat a patient who had never owed them a dime in 4 years. Just FYI.
