I liked him. Just a little language barrier but I'm hard of hearing, He was taking time talking so that I understood. Real personable Doctor for this old country boy!

Dr Qasim was thorough explained everything, BUT, the ball was dropped. Blood work done had to go back a week later o d it again failure to do a test. Staff sitting around front desk girl extremely busy. Surgeon didn't call me ever I switched oncologists. His staff is lacking thoroughness! Not to attentive to details.

Outstanding!!!
Dr Qasim is the most competent and compassionate Doctor I’ve ever had. I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma while in the hospital and terrified. Dr Qasim was assigned my case. From the minute he stepped into my hospital room, he calmed my anxiety, fears and reassured me of a treatment plan. Along the way, he immediately took action and found resolutions to any issue I faced and through his outstanding care, expertise and compassion made my treatments a breeze. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful Doctor and thank God for leading him to me. I highly recommend anyone wanting the best of the best oncologist to contact Dr Qasim.

No I would not recommend this Dr due to not ever getting a return call after calling once a week for 4 weeks to find out when my next infusion should be scheduled.

His office staff has been rude and unhelpful. The doctor has been a sweet heart but I can't get to him because his staff will not allow me to talk to him. He took over my care in the hospital and was able to immediatly hoan in on rare issues. But can't get results with multiple doctors involved. The office staff show no compassion. VJ

I have been undergoing treatment w/ Dr. Qasim for the past 5 mo for lymphoma. I had been treated locally for prostate cancer when the unrelated lymphoma cancer was found. I met w/Qasim and he was very thorough sharing all of the test results and treatment options with my family. He encouraged us to seek a 2nd opinion and we went to MD Anderson. We decided to stay with Dr. Qasim because of him and his exceptional staff - especially Mike. My treatment is complete and I'm now in follow-up.

My husband was admitted to the hospital after a PET scan showed possible bronchogenic carcinoma. Dr. Qasim insisted he had a bleeding ulcer and did not order a surgical biopsy. The ulcer turned out to be lung cancer. It is Stage IV and my husband is dying..
