Appears knowledgeable but he's unable to explain & clearly communicate with patient & family. When pressed to explain risks of a procedure he's advocating, his response is that "it's completely safe" and to "trust me". He prescribes a lot of medication, likely overmedicating. He won't volunteer information when an adverse incident occurs during a procedure he's performed. If you want a cardiologist to tell you what to do & you aren't interested in any explanation of risks, or to be offered alternatives from which to make an informed choice, Dr Madjid is for you. If you wish to be informed & able to participate in your treatment options, look for another cardiologist. Dr Madjid takes a substantial amount of money from pharmaceutical & medical device companies. See propublica's website for the most recent info. In short, he has a doctor-is-god attitude & poor communication skills.
