Very Poor Service
I believe the messages, with many negative posts. No response from many calls to office and I am a patient. My guess is if he doesn’t like your insurance office won’t call you back. Suggest anyone else. I would be very suspicious of this doctor and office. Many staff changes and there is probably a good reason for that.

Facility not really handicapped accessible. 1 hour appointment ate up 2 1/2 hours of my day. Had to leave for work. Scheduled a follow up call to get results with Dr. Khamiees, who was rude, would not explain what was measured in the tests, explain how he came to new diagnosis and had not read my prior pulmonologist's notes. He refused my request for help brining in the CPAP machine next visit (his requirement) as I could not manage to carry it, use two canes and open the heavy door by myself. Got a letter dismissing me from care a week later. Great place for an able bodied, completely passive person who believes the doctor's word is the word of God. Only upside to his practice is that mysteriously he is the ONLY pulmonologist accepting new patients in RI at present.

3 times NOT a charm!!
I saw Dr. Khamiees 3 times. A former PCP sent me to him. I should've been suspicious as they DO NOT require a referral--definite red flag. His staff are not friendly. Med. Asst. would not let me look at my meds. online--'for your privacy as well as others.' What a joke! New PCP sent me to someone else I like much better. I called after I last saw Khamiees in office to confirm a medication was called in. He yelled at me--'I'm in a meeting!' How was I to know his post appt. schedule?! He also warned me about getting covid If he used stethoscope on my back to hear my lungs! Clean your damned stethoscopes!! Also, no on call dr. Not a safe feeling when you have an asthma emergency. Stay away from this practice!

Scary
It is difficult to express our very negative experience with this doctor and his "clinic" without being somehow defamatory or inflammatory. Among other things, we found his insurance billing practices to be highly questionable and his manner with us as patients not good. Wish we could say more, but buyer beware.

Very Knowledgeable and Personable
The Office Staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The Respiratory Therapist was superb! The breathing test was thorough and used state-of-the-art equipment. Dr. Khamiees was friendly, funny and extremely knowledgeable. He spent enough time with me to explain the possible reasons for my recent sleep apnea diagnosis and recommended therapy. The only thing that I would criticize is the office condition. It isn't a brand-new facility, and it could use some updating. That certainly doesn't have any impact on the care that was provided, and I would definitely recommend Dr. Khamiees to anyone seeking good quality Pulmonary Care.

My husband stayed the night for a sleep study and though advertised as a comfortable stay in a hotel, it was a sleaze motel. They pulled the top sheet off so he only had the fitted sheet to sleep on, which was dirty. The TV did not work, the fridge did not work. When speaking to Dr. Mohammad Khamiees about the test results, he was an arrogant you know what!

I came in to be seen for sleep and he ran every several unrelated tests just because he thought I had "good insurance." I did not. I ended up with a huge bill because of his greediness.

Thanks GOD for visiting him and having him for us

Dr. Sleezy. This guy is a snake. Keep your hand on your wallet at all times since all he cares about is pushing charges through your insurance company. He continually books follow up appointments unnecessarily in order to rack up more charges. His office staff are super nice but I can't say enough bad things about this hack. Don't waste your time or money on him-travel as far as you can to avoid Dr. Sleezy.

I was given this doctor at the hospital. he was rude and a lier. He only worries about his insurance after weeks of being ill he refused to fill out TDI paper work, saying nothing but lies about why. It was too much work for him. I had many bad experience with him a nice word for him is a donkey if you get what I'm saying. I feel bad for his employees they must get a lot of greif. I wouldn't refer him to any one.

You've heard of the term ambulance chaser? Perfect description! During a recent hospital stay, this creepy little guy would float in just after my assigned doctors had visited and would do a quick check with his stethoscope. After the third day when finally coherent, I asked the nurse who he was, and was warned to stay away from him, complete with an eye roll. He'd also visit my roommate, who was as confused as I. Sure enough...a $575. charge for Hosp. Svcs. appears on my insurance.

After a very difficult overnight sleep study I went in for my results. Dr. Khamiees came into the room and after about a minute he was called out. He never came back. A man who sat in front of a computer told me I needed a sleep mask for health reasons. While I was waiting at the reception desk Dr. Khamiees came out to speak to the receptionist. He never even looked at me. This man did not care about me at all and I was a new patient-but not for long!

i was lied to about costs and treatments and bullied/threatened by this facility i found this practice to be unethical as well as feeling they forged my results to benefit their practice not only do they have the pulmonary office they run the sleep center and also run the medical supply equipment company which forces their machinery on you even if not needed the only good part of this office is the receptionist their are 2 which I've met but beware to speak with the billing women who answers too
