Initial Consult with Dr. Salkeni
Dr. Salkeni was very well prepared for the meeting. He had reviewed the genetics of my cancer and walked me through the options for treatment that are anticipated to respond best. He then reviewed my exclusionary condition that would eliminate my qualification for a number of Clinical trials but provided me assurances that there were a number of trials that would not preclude my participation. While it might take a bit longer to find the best trial for me, he was confident that a spot would become available. I walked out of the consultation with hope.

So amazing, Knowledgeable, extraordinary helpful

Fighting cancer is hard
This is my third clinical trial with doctor Salkeni. My original oncologist referred me after chemo stopped working. The first trial was a pill that one did not work at all, very disheartening but he did not give up and gave me another injection trial that kept the cancer in check for about 3 months. When the cancer started growing again, he offered a third trial treatment which I have been on for over 6 months with great success, tumors continue to shrink in all spots and pain nearly gone. It is such a blessing to have a doctor that doesn’t give up especially when it comes to cancer treatment. He cares and that’s what matters the most.
