Great Doctor

He saved me from the torcher of bipolar and kept me out of the hospital. He has been there for me every time I needed him and in my emergency he called me in 5 minutes. Great Doctor actually the best I've ever had!

Dr. Och is so easy to talk to and I really feel listened to during my appointments. He is also very knowledgable about different medications. He has helped me a lot in the past 8 years. In addition, he is respectful of his patients' time. He almost always takes me on time for my appointments.

Another locally prominent clinician administrator whose reputation exceeds his level of caring and competence. Like so many superficially professional mental health practitioners he is fairly good at conducting a clinical interview in a manner to create a show of competence at evaluation. On reflection and closer scrutiny he merely conforms to the norms of a field of care with enormous clout but scant science to back it up and even less of the deep personal commitment required to provide the single most important factor in the work: the presence of trustworthy and caring helping relationship. His shortcomings betray his arrogance, ignorance beyond the superficial conventions of the field, and ultimately a lack of caring. Conventional but shabby care.

I have had several doctors, several diagnosis es and have been prescribed many, many meds over the years. Twice I ended up hospitalized because of doctors who had no clue what they were doing! Dr. Och is my hero! He is the first to get it right. From the day I met him, he has listened to me, asked the right questions and has adjusted my meds as needed for stressful times as well as during cancer treatments - he makes it all work with MY life. He has seen several friends and family members as well and is loved by all. Dr. Och is extremely smart, he is a caring and compassionate doctor - I can't say enough wonderful things about him.

Take a stop watch to you office visit! You have two minutes, at most,of his time. He has a reputation Adcare outpatient for doing this from the staff there, not the patients. .after five years of help seeing him. he was fine in prescribing medication, until I started to have a problem with addiction. He was nasty, and did not offer any reasonable help.I felt like a homeless addict in the gutter.. I am a middle class retired teacher who developed a problem with pills. A horrible, uncaring.
