An excellent doctor
I am very fond of Dr. Alnabelsi. He is kind. He listens to my questions and he makes excellent referrals when necessary. His office is very busy and I agree, getting through to his office is getting more difficult as time goes by. Eventually, I do get a call, I've been his patient for over ten years, and when we have a telephone appointment, he does call, and sometimes he's a little early and sometimes he's a little late. I don't get hysterical with every tiny infraction. For goodness sake, the doctor has been practicing for a very long time and he is always very careful in his treatments and consistent in his preventative measures. I feel well cared for and I'll be very sorry when he retires. Yes, the office can improve the phone call returns. I do agree with that. And the staff is very efficient, helpful.

Never see him and staff won't call
I have been trying to be seen by this doctor for over 2 years. He will only contact me by telephone and charges over $500 for a ten minute phone call that does not even address my concerns. Usually he does not even call on time and I have waited up to 45 minutes after my appointment time for him to call. Then there are times he does not call at all and it takes over a week of calling to get someone at the office to call me back to reschedule the appointment that the doctor missed. This is no way to treat patients. He is NEVER available for me to ask questions and his staff almost Never answers phone or calls back.

Appointment
Never came across a medical office that does not answer their phones. How on earth are people supposed to make appointments? People are very sick and In need of care. This practice obviously doesn't care about their patients.

the office never answers their phones. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. He does nothing but ask you the same questions each visit and never does anything about your responses no matter how severe they are. he is a neglectful doctor and he should be shut down

Didn't have to wait long in tiny waiting room but staff is cold & rude. Office is unprepared. They have no computer system. All old fashioned paper folders. Have to always remind them about my lab results. Dr. Is OK, will answer your questions.

I'm a new patient of Dr. Khaldoun Alnabelsi. Because of Covid19 I have not been able to meet him personally but had a phone interview with him and I'm very pleased, satisfied and impressed with his knowledge and his desire to help his patients. During the interview I received the help and direction I need to correct my medical issue. His advice has been a "life saver" to me and already feel the change. He deleted some prescriptions that were not so good and prescribed a new one that I feel will be beneficial to me. I would highly recommend him to my family and friends. I wish to also acknowledge his medical staff. They have been courteous and helpful.

Wanted $575 for a 10 minute appointment with no lap work. Complete ripoff. No insurance they charge you more. Requires a $575 visit every 6 months just to get a prescription for insulin. Been using the same prescription for insulin with my Type 1 diabetes for 18 years and this doctors office only takes advantage of that. Refuses to renew prescriptions which never change and will remain the same for life as a Type 1 diabetic without paying his continuing ridiculous fees. Complete ripoff.

This doctor is rude and arrogant . He does not take the time to listen to what you are saying. A doctor that doesn’t care about his patients sums him up .

Was a patient for a few years. Rude staff, quadruple booked. Waiting room is standing room only, if you can squeeze into the waiting room. I've stood out in the hall for over an half hour. They pay no attention to appt. time. Once in the exam room, he comes in and spends less than 3 minutes to tell you nothing. If you ask a question he's suddenly irritated. Started driving to USC (Keck)-wonderful place, with great care.

I am a recent throat cancer survivor. Damage to my thyroid was pretty severe. Due to the way my diagnosis and insurance worked and the Dr's schedule it took me a long time to see him. I was in bad shape with a hyperthyroid condition. He saw me on a Tuesday, he said he would call me as soon as he got the blood test results with a prescription. Despite the front office resistance he contacted me Friday the day his office is closed and got me a prescription right away. He is great!
