Office Staff are RUDE and Incompetent
Labs since July haven’t been reviewed and lab in the same building as his office but Office STAFF berated me and said I had to reschedule to go over lab work. I walked down the hall and asked for my lab work but Deaconess said they could ONLY RELEASE to DOCTORS STAFF. It is the end of OCTOBER and I am still trying to get Lab work consultation and prescriptions from July 3rd. If you say anything negative the Staff hangs up on you and removes you from the system. The Pharmacy said none of my prescriptions could be filled because all were incomplete quantities, directions, etc

Nursing staff
The office staff doesn't listen. We you have appointments nursing staff doesn't have any of your lab results or x ray on the chart. I was told to make an appointment with the doctor to go over my results. I was just there 3 weeks ago, and the nursing staff use have all results in the chart. Very disorganized nursing staff.

Need Managment to avoid mistakes.
Dr. Sisay appears to be a good man, knowledgeable in medical fields but lacking time management & communication qualities. I recommend he hire a good CEO to cover those those deficiencies so he can get a 5 star rating because patients can benefit a lot more with improved communication & time management.

Communication issues continue, it takes several phone calls to get anything done. This last time was over a prescription refill. When I called to find out what was going on, I was told I had not been at appointments for 6 months. I had actually had 2 appointments during this time. It is is alarming to me that they have no records of my last two visits. This is an ongoing problem with communication.

My wife and I are only disappointed that a zero is not available. We are appalled that a doctor can actually remain in business this long (looking at the poor reviews below that align with our recent experience) and have such a tremendous problem relating to the physical and emotional needs of patients in a city the size of Evansville IN. All of the negative reviews below seem accurate, based on our two office encounters. In our experience, Dr Sisay does not handle constructive dialogue well with patients nor have the ability to for meaningful conversation because once we had questions or expressed normal concerns and interest regarding OUR care, the mood dramatically changed, he refused to offer further treatment, and we were told to seek another rheumatologist in the area. And yes, he is a master at inappropriate sarcasm. All of this is hurtful to those already in a vulnerable position. Very disappointing and unprofessional. If possible, be wise and seek another professional!

One star is too many. This office has a god complex and the stories about rudeness are all consistent with my experience. If you can find another doctor do it. He has appointments available for a reason, and should be avoided at all costs.

communication issues. he is not friendly at all. he tried me on one medicine, didn't work, and only after a handfull of visits he told me to go see my family doctor. he must not be very familiar with fibromyalgia. he ignored my valid concerns. he did go through my lab and xray results with me and explained everything very well. i am very friendly, explain myself well, and get to the point, but my major issues were ignored. was a waste of time and money to see him.

Stood me up! Sat there for an hour after my appointment time and he never showed up. Was told by the nurse he told them he was leaving for a meeting an hour before my app time but would be back for his appointments . They could not reach him via phone and he didn’t bother to call them to say he was running behind to let his patients know. No idea when or if he’d return. Needless to say I left and had to be rescheduled. I had to sign paperwork that if I am a no show or cancel late I believe it’s a $30 charge. Guidelines should fall the same for the Dr., my time is just as valuable. I had to makeup time at work just to sit there for an hour and not be seen. Unprofessional! Glad I didn’t come from way out of town like I’m sure some do.

Very rude. My mother missed a few appointments due to my father’s cancer battle. He was stoned faced when being given this reasoning and kicked her out of his office. No organization should have any talk of God or Christianity in their voicemail if they choose to employ such an unprofessional and uncaring doctor. Although my mother was hurt she ultimately was ok with it because she always thought he was rude and condescending anyway.

He took my wife back for her appointment, would not answer any questions and completely unprovoked threw her bloodwork papers at her and kicked her out of the office crying and wondering what she did wrong... he should not be allowed to practice medicine anywhere

He is very short and rude. On my first visit he was very hateful and speaks to people with no respect. I hate that I had to pay him to treat me like he did. I hope people see other doctors. Hes not kind like the motto they claim to follow.

Dr. SiSay is very gentle and caring and takes his time explaining blood work, medications and options of treatment. He has treated my RA for over 15 years and I have been extremely happy with the results. His care and recommendations have kept my RA well managed with very few flares in that time. I am so thankful that I can trust my health to a Dr. who serves God by serving people.
